i got engineering degree last summer. i studied after and before work. now i dont do much as i still recover from that. did it in 3 years and it should take 4 while working average of 10 hours a day. hard seasons i were working 7 days a week and easy months i only worked normal or used vacation days for school.

that shit burns your soul. would not recommend unless you are really making it for the future. mine is to quit working for money sometime so i wanted nice job i can do as a hoppy.

What kinda degree? Was looking at online engineering degrees but not sure what's the best option. I can get into a "supply chain engineering" degree but that sounds a little retarded and non-engineering. Send advice pls ser

Not much to elaborate. I graduated with a mathematics degree and now I'm comfy in mommy's house working on my personal projects and thinking about my next move. All I know is that if I don't make it in the next few years I'll probably off myself.

Only ever study a four-year engineering degree from a university accredited under the Washington Accord. A big portion of an engineering degree is just having the credentials to show that you made it through the course, and any company worth their salt will absolutely check that you have a proper degree.
That said, there's nothing inherently wrong with a degree called "supply chain engineering". I work with quite a few engineers who focus on logistics. Google "integrated logistics support" for an idea of the kind of job that a degree like that could lead you to.

Thank you fren. Guess it's not the typical engineering I was thinking of. And yeah it's from Clemson, which is my state's top college for engineering. Might just pursue it.

This. If your work is calibrated correctly, when you aren't working you should be too tired to do anything else. It's the same with your salary. If you actually have any savings left over when you pay for your expenses to live, you're either being paid too much or someone isn't charging you enough to live.

Yeah, engineering is completely different to what everyone thinks it is. Barely anybody does actual design work, and it's usually the kind of thing that's pretty hard to explain to non-engineers. At the end of the day it just becomes a generic office job, like an accountant or a lawyer.
I sometimes wish I just became an actuary instead. My job would be just as boring, but at least it would pay better.

we have degrees you go to school ones a week or ones a month depending of the degree.
i had one week a month for 3 days.
rest of the school was online in specific time. usually morning and eavning so no matter what sift you worked that day you could go to it.
these were done in class so you also could go to class if you wanted.

only for some specific exams needed to be done in specific time and place. also laboratory stuff needed you to go in school.

it was 4 year school, but because of its online nature i joined to more classes than i should.
basicly i had no free time in 3 years. i slept worked and did school stuff. shower took my free time so if i had day off from work i didint do that.

that shit is not for most people. you might get some fake school diploma from somewere but real deal takes most people scheduled time and a little more while they only do that. while you work thast soulbreaker.
i dont know people who could do that and only half 6 months after i dont know how i could.
