The irony is that, if Coinmetro had just speculated on their gem listings - QNT, KDA, PRQ, LINK (they were one of the very first), etc - they wouldn't need any investment.

I remember naively planning to sell off some of my XCM in tranches. I hated the idea of reducing my staking income, but knew I should do it. I've been stuck with it for so long that I now have 1.1M XCM- so I can't even fucking stake it all.

Good/Bad lighting and angles is like 99% of looking decent. You can make a lot of decent looking people look weird as fuck with bad lighting.
It's uncanny how bad people are at understanding how photography works. You can post a picture of the same guy twice and have people call them 10/10 or 3/10 purely based on lighting and angle affecting how their features look and how young they look. It affects skin too, not just falsely making eyes seem more deep set than they are or forehead longer than it is.

>> No.56932990

Another point but not really relevant, guys are absolutely terrible at telling if a woman has makeup or not in photos. I constantly see people with "discrete makeup" or "nomakeup-makeup" being called out for how naturally beautiful they are and that they look so good without even needing makeup.

I've been thinking about our new bathroom with full immersion bathtub.
What do you think about a full Japanese style bathroom?
I mean, I prefer to take a quick shower to get clean and I'm not really a bathtub person, but after you're done washing it would be heavenly to jump into a hot tub for about 2 or 3 minutes and let everything go.
A con would be that it would be slightly costly in water consumption.

I would love a full Japanese style bathroom, but I don't have space for that. I would need to make a lot of money this cycle to afford a big house, but having a big house is also a heating electricity liability.
It's either a tub or a shower. Of course I shower regularly, can't get clean hair with a bath. It's really nice to take baths during cold winters though. You walk to the store, it's -12c and you're freezing. You finally get back and you heat up the tub and put on a show and just relax. Come out with full body warmth and not just on the surface of your body.
Water consumption is not expensive, but electricity is at winter. Not that bad though, I pay for it even knowing it often is a noticeable difference.

There are these attempts at solving the shower-bath dilemma but I don't think it has been properly solved yet.
You can technically shower and bathe in walk-in bathtubs, but I believe you have to close them first before you can turn them on, it will be awkward to just sit or lie there while the bath still has to fill up.
But when you do want to shower, they feel more like a shower.
It's kind of weird that they have not managed to solve this problem yet, the only solution still seems to be to get a larger bathroom.

>>56934882
I could explain, but it's probably easier to watch some ecchi anime and skip to the bathroom scenes.

>> No.56934946

>>56934932
Well, as a Japanese resident in Japan, it's not really "easy to clean". It's only easy to clean because the space is small.
In particular, Japan is humid, and if you leave it alone wet, the "unit bath" (is what we call it) quickly catches mold. And if you leave the mold, it sticks there and you'd hardly be able to get rid of it. Also, it's typically installed with a caulk job, and that has to be renewed every decade or so, or else the bathroom can start leaking, ruining half the building you live in (been there).

If the unit includes a toilet, that means you're essentially bathing in a tiny toilet, which is fine unless you (again) leave it for a few humid days until the toilet bowl gets all black, red and yellow with mold.

To prevent that, residents here would either make sure you wipe off every drop of water before leaving the room at the end of the day, or clean it at least once in a few days if not daily, and then thoroughly clean it once a week, and make sure you leave the fan on 24/7 (which can annoy neighbors when the fan becomes old and noisy) or keep the bathroom window open if the unit can install one (which may attract a lot of tiny bugs even if you keep the wire screen closed at all times).
When you get to the point that you can't do anything about your rotten unit, then residents here would call one of the many professional cleaning people or carpenters in Japan who are very used to and good at taking care of Japanese unit baths because they've see a lot of them on a daily basis.
So, all in all, a concise Japanese plastic bathroom unit is effective only because, in Japan, a whole building is made to be rebuilt every three decades or so. It's also typical for residents to renew just the bathroom and/or toilet once a decade, because (A) they don't last and (B) better ones are being developed every day. And when that sort of construction begins at someone's very nice home, you can see from the streets a really dirty bath unit being uninstalled.

That is not awkward, that is the best part!
As a kid I used to sit like a monkey and wait for the warm water to hit my nuts. Now I just sit and relax while the water slowly rises. Need to adjust to the temperature because I put it fairly hot so it lasts longer.

That's interesting, but are we talking about regular house bathroom or tiny student apartments?
I took the train from Tokyo to Hakone and you see many many houses, just regular one family size houses, I think they should have a little bit bigger of a bathroom than an apartment in a big city.
In anime reference, I mean the kind of houses you have in a setting where they are still young and the childhood gf lives next door to the main character, and later in the series they move to the big soulless city.

Pic related is already what I mean, there's just a soaking tub but adjacent there's some space where you can wash up, but ideally you could stand and was there.
In small apartments you would have to fit the toilet into the same room to save space, but for humidity, ventilation and hygiene it would be preferential to have a separate room for the toilet.

>>56935013
How do you sit like a monkey?
Personally I prefer to wait until it's filled up, heated to the proper temperate and just jump right in.
