No catalyst for minimum two weeks. No hype/momentum, so no new buyers unless they actually read up and believe in the trial. At this point pretty much everyone that wants a position is already positioned.
It all comes down to the final result.

There could be a slight uptrend over the next few days as that short term vol selling ceases to be worthwhile, but in general don't expect shares to push past $15. The market has made its decision on the odds.
If you were never in SAVE for the thesis of mispriced trial odds, then you might as well sell now. The window to flip is over. Otherwise you'll be stuck holding onto a gamble that you have no clue on how it might resolve.
To be honest, it was never particularly sensible to buy SAVE as a swing trade like that. The whole airline sector put in a massive bottom last month. You could've bought JBLU and been up 50%. ULCC is up 40%. HA got a buyout offer and has tripled. Shows how undervalued the whole sector was trading. Spirit airlines is uniquely dogshit, with most of the value being tied to this active special situation of the trial.

Oil looks like a clear breakdown through a long term support. It doesn't matter what the supply fundamentals are. Speculators now realize, yes, a recession is coming and that means sell oil, and they'll overdo it on the downside just like on the upside.

Don't kys trying to make oil work, just wait for the peak of recessionary panic. There's other long-term inflation bets like miners that look cheap anyways.

$5B in student loan forgiveness announced yesterday. $110B in ukraine money to be passed any minute now. $2T in inflation reduction act subsidies about to hit the economy next year. we go higher

>> No.56902838

A few rules I learned during my short time as a trader:

>Always define your profit margin: use a trailing stop loss not to exclude gains, but make sure to trail it behind so you don't get greedy
>Define your risk loss, but ideally don't use a stop loss and be ready to lose everything
>NEVER look up the market after the trade is finished i.e. you sold. Worst case scenario is a stock booming after you finished up and you FOMOing to death
>Calculate volatility: your trade should be based on the direction, not on "it will be up x% today without dumping in-between"
>Don't be a brainlet, split your investment 95% long term, 5% short term aka gambling with options

Any other suggestions, /smg/?

Yes, we are probably pricing in a minor recession as seen by oil dumping. But stocks won't really care about that. Even a minor recession won't stop people from consuming and there is so much money being pumped into the US industry right now that it doesn't even matter.
US, being the most sane country, placed its trust into pumping its industries and it is paying off big time.

Nah, the reason we had inflation is because the "bottom up middle out" economic expansion model (ie. Which is precisely why I'm interested in these.
There are a shitload of similar charts across multiple sectors that have been beaten down that have been turning recently.
It's enough that they touch the 200ma and you're already looking at 2-3x in many of them.
I assume they're all tracking the Russell 2000 or something else with varying levels of leverage, because these moves are pretty uniform in many sectors.
