I haven’t worked since 2021. I live an extremely frugal, ascetic existence and collect food money from staking. I moved from Scandinavia to Spain and live in a tent on a beach. I have $100k in crypto and will buy a modest apartment when I make it next year. I would never have been able to save my money if I wagecucked in the north. Go hobo mode, it’s really not that bad

What do you do all day, just walk around? I would love to stop working, but I would at least need a little money to buy books or something

I lived in a big bell tent once was comfie asf, I used a solar generator with 1000W worth of solar panels and that ran my gaming laptop, lights and a mini fridge fine.

It even had mini log fire you could cook and heat on in the winter for showering I would heat two kettles of water up into a 20L bucket then use one of those 12V car showers in a shower tent.

My water was given to me for $20 per 1000L from a farmer next door who would come and fill it up for me every few weeks for price of a box of beers.

I think I would live like that again even if I did make it, big round tents with wood burners are surprisingly comfie and it was really based being off grid I just used 4G for my Internet.

My outgoing was just $30 for the unlimited 4g, $20 for water and petrol for my car plus food.

it should be a big round fur tent with wooden frame for maximum comfy and being incontect with the earth-spirit

imagine how many chicks you could pull with a nice big trad-tent with a stove in the middle

I think people underate how toxic a lot of what houses are built out of especially old ones.

>lead paint
>asbestos

Who knows what new materials will turn out toxic. Humans have lived in tents for 1000s of years thats why it feels so comfie, its natural to us.

To bad people are souless sheep that get so caught up in the social matrix trying to please roasties to ever think outside the box about how exactly to live.

No amount of money will change this mentality of mine. I could be a billionaire living in a little tent manually heating my shower water.

I would rather have lots of land then a McManson in a "expensive, good" area in some liberal urban hellscape.

So little people are free thinkers, even peoples car tastes or brands when they make it are fucking tasteless trash that every other low witt desires.

Do you know how much for example gucci screams poor nig? I mean rappers loving it should be the hint.

I saw this video of this guy who traveled basically the entire world doing hobo mode. Whichever way he could travel for free he did. Hitch hiking, train hopping, couch surfing, etc. He had a sleeping bag and a tent and just slept where he could. There's something so incredibly freeing about it. If Jesus went hobo mode, I'm sure there's greatness to be found in it.

I have hobo mode many times by choice, it can be very harsh for example deep in the forest my clothes became wet and couldn't dry because of the fog and it was very cold.

other times I laid in the sun without care in the world high as shit look at a million dollar view for free.

The real value was preceptive and escape it gave from how society shapes our reality and perception that had flow on effects to my business dealings in the future, not only have you reduced your overheads by your also growing your mental capital.

I made just over 300k in 2021 and have been getting a steady income from staking since then. I moved out of my apartment in upper East side and my landlord has allowed me to rent one of the refuse bins (commercial sized "dumpster") for only a few hundred USD a month (My apartment was in the thousands so this saves me a ton)
Obviously I had it cleaned up professionally, there's not a spec of dirt and modified it to accommodate me + I've got power run from inside to my unit. It's only crouching height but it's quite cozy and I use two space heaters in the winter, combined with some insulation I've got on the roof (lids) it's pretty solid. I'm a good forty feet from the other bins so there's literally no smell.
I always thought with more money I'd want more and more, but I'm happy here. I can watch shows on my chromebook and post here whenever I like.
The big downside of this lifestyle is that it's really affecting my posture to be in a dwelling with such a low ceiling, but whatever man. I feel like I've actually made it.
