Would you say it’s ‘investing’ in bitcoin or ‘gambling’ on bitcoin?

Just curious.

Investing in bitcoin (all investments involve some risk so all of it is at least in part, gambling).

Good point.
How would you say the risk factor is buying right now?

>> No.56877395

Gambling implies some sort of contingent return. Nobody sells bitcoin, this is known.

Not him, but I'm a crypto maxi. Risk is very high right now. We could go as high as 50k or 60k in a few days, but that's just impossible to know ahead of time, so I sold all my BTC at 42k. Even if it goes higher from here, its very likely it will pullback to the 30s. You should have been buying last year. Don't FOMO in now, but take this lesson to heart and remember to buy when it retraces. If it drops lower than your purchase price, just buy more. Good luck goldfag.

It's speculation.

But I want to. I don't even have a coinbase account - I set one up ages ago but didn't do KYC

My strategy is to accumulate and hold at any and every price, except when price is so severely and undeniably out of wack. 37k was solid victory for bulls. 40k is when we have clearly entered a mania phase. 42k is when I get off the ride. Plus I still have 450 ETH that never gets sold, so I'll be OK no matter what.

Its always gambling, and the house always wins. Even this cycle more people will lose money then make it

Cheers mate.
Still very hesitant to pull the trigger but feel like I need a dog in the race.
