imo this is the continuation of the EEA plan and it is making perfect sense. when the EEA news had broken back then everyone thought that all these fancy usecases would be happening on Ethereum and that all the Liquidity from all these usecases would end up in there (trillions of RWAs) so this made ETH legit and a very attractive investment.
But things didnt turn out like that and it became clear to them that what is needed is Avalanche Subnets and its arcitecture.
Now logically speaking all these usecases will get their own customized blockchain subnet for their usecase so this logically means that all the RWA trillions (hundreds of trillions) go into Avalanche and not in Ethereum.
now the big difference is that back then this was just an announcement for Ethereum but today these products are already launching on Avalanche.

I think the lack of marketing will ultimately be a boon for AVAX. Institutional money wants fresh pastures, not whalefucked PnDs like Solana and Poolygon. Keep retail out until the big guys get in. well you're asking a whole buncha questions there but the main theme is that many of the "new" l1s that you mention use old consensus protocols and don't actually innovate in a particularly useful way, re-hashing and rejigging the same old tech with new branding

solana is perhaps a little different but it is betting it all on being one chain to rule them all, which isn't at all battle tested, we know that when solana was actually busy, it used to shut down a lot, so who is to say what could happen when people finally put some demand on it?

avalanche made innovative moves at the tech layer, I think are right to separate out the apps into their own chains and have excellent business development and marketing. almost nobody talks about this latter aspect even though it is at least equal to the tech aspect.

that's why even if somebody came out now with some insano super duper next gen chain, I wouldn't bet any money on it because they won't have the business development aspect.
