They have values while you're just some nihilistic gambling zoomer pleb? so it is a bit confusing for you to encounter people who got into crypto due to caring about other things, many of whom already had a frame of reference for understanding it because they do things like actually read books. They act condescending about it towards you which pisses you off, so you project your anger onto them when really they enjoy their position immensely and so are more likely to pity you.

not even mentioning it can also be sold under all the above conditions above unlike btc
or used as collateral for a loan unlike btc
explain to me again how link isn't just the exact same thing as btc PLUS has a more aggressive deflationary release rate (no new link tokens will ever be minted), PLUS is backed by a revenue generating product which funnels rewards to said token. and youre telling me btc 750b mcap makes sense. hm

Based thread. The answer is so obvious it’s right in front of our faces. Just buy and hold bitcoin. It is the most supreme asset class that’s ever existed, and will directly move against all other devaluing currencies and inferior commodities that have a higher friction to hold. It’s so fucking simple. Took me years to finally realize it and not chase short term gas bubbles we call alt coins.

Because bitcoin takes a lot of effort to explain, and it just gets tiring. So it becomes reducing it down to the minimum, terse words, and it rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Maxi’s don’t have time to orange pill everyone. Actually, one can truly only orange pill themselves; it takes a significant amount of self-reflection to arrive at the maxi mindset. Bitcoin is about the masses and getting the minimal word out to as many as possible.

this
when you have that "wake up" moment you realize most normies and even most autists here can't be helped, they will buy btc from BlackCock etf when it's 100k, it's so obvious yet most people just don't see it or don't believe it, they think they are smarter by searching for some obscure shitcoin that will finally give them the 100x to financial freedom but 99.99 % of them will lose most of their money because a 5-10x with btc isn't enough for them within 2-5 years, buying bitcoin with low leverage is still smarter than gambling on shitcoins

Exactly.

Bitcoin is going to the MOON and there's nothing anyone can do about it. At the very least it is the EASIEST 3X on earth right now. No one can convince me otherwise. If you don't know why you just don't know and no one's gonna help you anymore. I stopped engaging with stupidity, when I see bears I just laugh. Bitcoin is finally getting the recognition some of us here used to dream of. A tsunami of capital is coming in with the ETFs which are a done deal. Then we have the halving hype and potential rate cuts next summer which adds liquidity and risk appetite in the financial markets. No one expects another El Salvador or MicroStrategy until it happens. I believe it will, because bitcoin is undoubtedly the hardest asset in the world and people are waking up to it. None of this is priced in. When the free floating supply is less than 10 million a price of $38K per unit is severely underpriced given all the stars that are aligning. This might be one of the best setups in bitcoin history. Bobos r fuk. Stay bullish.

Great post. The ONLY use for a blockchain is as a truly decentralised store of value. If it isn't truly decentralised (like shitcoins aren't) then it's inferior to tradfi tech already. Blockchain technology is inherently slow and inefficient compared to centralised tradfi tech, there isn't anything in the entire crypto space that has a long term future in finance other than Bitcoin.

You have a point, but not the one you think. If you are trying to maximize gains, yes, you can play with alts, but it is a lot riskier and takes more effort. It is NOT something the masses are prepared to do, though. The least risky is just buy and hold bitcoin.

Now your comment about the 5x gain could mean you haven’t thought about it enough. One, the time horizon you are thinking about it way to small for bitcoin (but valid if you know how to play alts—maybe*), but worrying about the usd price of bitcoin shows either you haven’t truly orange pilled yourself yet OR you are in it to maximize short term gains and I wish you luck.
* protip: when playing alts, the ONLY metric that matters is how that alt is performing against btc and not usd.
