The deals were shit and only 20-30% down this black friday. Do businesses think consumers are still paying for this shit lol? They were in panic mode last year. How do normies afford all of this still?

kek yeah it was bad around my area. 15-25% off holy shit what a fucking deal. 15% off this overpriced $450 tv. god damn what a fucking deal. These greedy corporations really have no fucking clue how broke everyone is and even if they did their corporate greed would take over and they still wouldnt give a good deal cuz they cant tolerate not making max profits off every overpriced pile of shit they put out. black friday is a joke and no longer the awesome sales it used to offer.

>> No.56789093

It's gotten to the point where deals don't seem like deals anymore. Nothing seemed to be a worthy purchase.

And yet they beat estimates yet again. More revenue, higher traffic, more sales. People have more money than it seems. Who would have thought that decade+ of ZIRP or close to zero interest rate policy would make people rich?
Consooomerism is at ATH despite apparently "restrictive" economic policy

"Restrictive" policy my big juicy butt. The FED is so full of crap. Prop up the big businesses and let the middle and lower classes go to hell. Actually, that's not so bad right? Everybody benefits right? Wages went up by 5-10%, completely offsetting all inflationary pressure and price gouging right?
I seriously want to know how normies are this fuckin rich. How is consumerism still at ATH?

Higher revenue yes. Increased sales? I doubt it. Corps are building things with today's dollar and then selling in the future with inflated dollars price. This allows every year of sales to be more profitable than the last despite decreasing sales every year. At some point something is going to break. I think some are already on a buisness model of just raising prices every year to offset predicted loss of sales. We'll be looking at $20 for a box of Kraft EZ Mac soon.

USA is finally getting a taste of that third world life style.
Soon enough they'll be fully immersed in it. Lived your entire life with the world trying to cater to you and your purchasing power/habits. Americans are gonna have to learn how it is for the world to be indifferent to whether you buy something or not going forward
