I’m 28 with 170k and I’m not even cracking the 80th percentile, or 1 in 5, and I’m on the top half of the age distribution. When looking at just 28 year olds, I probably barely have more than the median. Then you have to consider many 20 something’s are in school, have massive amounts of debt, are unemployed or have health problems. Among full time workers my age I’m likely below average net worth.

People are insanely fucking wealthy now.

It kind of amazes me looking at zillow. Somehow, in fucking orlando, there are miles and miles of houses all selling for 700k+. I don't understand how there are so many wealthy people out there. What did I do wrong? Just by the sheer volume of people living in nice mansions, it seems like being wealthy is just a simple trick that I missed in school. Did I not rinse my dick enough? Did I not make my bed well enough? I don't get it.

Please use your wealth to abolish abortion and/or end animal agriculture

Hundreds of thousands of children are being aborted every single year. Tens of thousands of children are being aborted completely legally in 2023 in deep red USA states.
Abortion is still legal in all 50 states and almost nobody is talking about it. The pro life movement is a controlled opposition and not your fren. Please watch this approximately 15 minute long YouTube video on abortion please whether you be pro choice or already pro life https://youtu.be/XGPv66ZqlEQ?feature=shared [Open] [Open] [Open]

Over 6 billion (yes) Chickens are tortured to death every single year in the United States alone in factory farms. And no your Canada Australia or EU country isn't much better. Billions of animals are being tortured to death in factory farms every single year and it's (partially) your fault! Please watch at least the first five minutes of this YouTube video . In it he explains that people who regularly purchase chicken for years straight will almost certainly cause the torturing and murder of hundreds of extra chickens. That blood is all on your hands and would NOT have been shed had you instead decided to boycott animal products / go vegan ! https://youtu.be/brKhhZlUoOc?feature=shared [Open] [Open] [Open]

What are the conditions like in factory farms where over 96% of all animal products in western nations come from? They are mutilated without anesthetic, crammed in dirty, uncomfortable, and crowded conditions, they are artificially inseminated / raped and jacked off, they are slaughtered. Here is a free approximately 2 hours long documentary about factory farming please watch it thank you https://youtu.be/LQRAfJyEsko?feature=shared [Open] [Open]

Anon you aren't the average, you're the median so you would need to take that into account for. There are tons of reasons why it's more normal to be poor then to actually make it.

1. Lack of low overhead when investing in cars, houses, and other assets
2. Lack of pensions and other retirement vehicles that greatly compounded before and after 1970
3. Greater pressure on building debt rather than credit with Student Loans
4. Returning interest rates without the capital or assets to collateralize

Between the 1945 and 2001 if you didn't go to college or go to war you were considered a deadbeat and a loser. People forget those were pretty much the only two things you could do in life before the internet is either get really educated or go die in a war. This happened every like 50 years in the US at the least.

Ain't going back, now you get to sit there while your boomer parents mock you because your living situation is awful and they judge you for your life choices. All while telling you with a grin on their face that they worked hard for their money, when in reality the opposite pretty much happened because jobs started getting much easier since after the industrial revolution.

That's your cycle right there.

If you’re 25-29 and you bought a house you’re a retard. You have decades until the house is actually yours (if you don’t lose your job or inflation kills your salary) and until then it belongs to the banks and you’re tied up to the house.
You should be happy with being top 20, thankful you’re not under bottom 50 and especially ecstatic you’re not the African who thought the hellcat and took on debt to do nigger shit like buy luxury clothing, get trapped by child support and going to casinos and is now pic related.

I absolutely love when you guys post the top earning position at a company short of being on the board of executives, the sort of position that only has one opening every twenty five years when guy retires, and you say that's what the average salary in the industry is.

The type of positions you're talking about would be closer to $800k - $1mil in TC (mostly in stock), and require 15+ years of experience plus some networking, but those are never advertised on a job board lmao.
