>For just over a week
>Job is to take orders from sales team and get best price for it to arrange deal to ship to customer for sales team to then sell the deal
>Managers downgrade projections because it's me solo
>Normally a $100K a month department they're expecting $70K at most but it's a slow month normally anyway so no issue
>Work like madman to stop orders backing up
>Drink coffee (I don't drink coffee normally)
>Do over a day worth of overtime in a week just to make sure we never fall too far behind
>End of Month comes and some staff come back for last few days
>Over $100K finish,
>Best October for years for the company
>Cash in all my holiday + Overtime
>Had a couple weeks off
>Still get updates on how much department is making
>6 days until end of the month now
>Department is on $55K
>Actually did so badly the department lost fucking money this week
>Gets update about work
>Half of sales team just filed to take holiday today until end of month because they know shit is fucked and they'll miss target but they get pro-rata pay based on last months earnings if on holiday
>I have 1 more week left before I go back

I think you already know exactly what to expect. Dont go back.
Better yet, go back. But just long enough to see what a catastrophe they left for you. Then look the boss dead in the eyes and ask him "why do you even hire these fuckups? You look like a clown right now." and then leave. Dont go back for less than a huge raise. Or a promotion and a raise.

Nah seriously one of my best friends works in IT for a casino and they realized they couldnt live without him. I told him to go in there and Big-Dick the fuck out of them. He did exactly that and got a 5 dollar raise for both him and his buddy. They weren't going to let him leave. You have to know when you hold the cards and you cant be afraid to slap your dick on the table

Nah sales do that, I negotiate to get the stock from other companies to agree a price and then tell sales how much it would be so they can try to convine the customer to pay lol
