Plenty of projects are faster and better than Ethereum on everything it does. Kava, Solana, Optimism, etc. However, Ethereum came first, most projects that we still use today were made back then for Eth and in the end, it became the standard. Like why designers opt to shell out $80 dollars a month for Adobe software when there are better open source alternatives out there.
