LINK staking was supposed to be 5%, then it got reduced to 4.5% now it's getting reduced again to 4.3%
Why take that crazy risk for these pathetic crumbs?

Staking is a scam. You can literally intraday trade the entire yearly ROI on an average crypto day.
Today's LINKUSD candle is 7% top to bottom, yesterday's as well, the day before that 11% intraday.
You don't have to be a stakecuck while Sergey dumps millions on you every month.

it's 4.3% in link tokens though. you're getting an apy on an appreciating asset rather than inflationary usd.

Anons do you think I should stake 90% of my 1.4k stack? I know I should stake the entire thing but I want the ability to sell some in the event it pumps a shitload.

V0.2 wasn't originally supposed to have a floor at all. It was all supposed to be from demand and fees. While I appreciate the linkies from sergey's wallet, if they are STILL subsidizing this shit in 2024, demand is obviously not even close to what they've implied.

Why would chainlink have any demand and from who?

Base floor is an admission that they know the actual usage won't be able to support a decent APY based on it's own fees. Current APY projections must be so embarrassingly low that sergey would rather give you link out of his own dumps than to show people what the demand is organically.

I'm staking my full 1.57k stack. Ramp up period ain't that long, and you won't get much for 100 link regardless. I want as much link and rewards as I can

You get better returns on high interest savings accounts. Staking returns wont even be part of your equation unless you're both a whale, and LINK hits and maintains multiplicatives higher than its current ATH. For a holder with ~10k LINK, this is more like an account their children will see real benefit from, than the original buyer. This isn't FUD, this is the reality of the situation. The only people who will make it, are the people with 50k-100k+ LINK, and they'll make it by selling, not staking.
