They legit burnt all their runway during the bear by hiring hundreds of people without having any revenue. Initially I thought the expansion was bullish, that it meant they had actual institutions coming that necessitated a corporate foundation to handle. But it seems the were just putting the cart before the horse. I saw their job postings for remote roles on linkedin for roles like ITSM process managers, not something that is really needed for a crypto start-up.
Recently they've had to lay off a huge chunk of their staff right before the bull market when they would have been actually needed.
All in all that spending seems to have resulted in very little actual product development.
Also the new staking is nice, but they set the minimum to 2500, up from the previous 1500 for wallet "staking". Obviously they are trying to create some buying pressure so they can get some much needed cash. They had the entire bear market to address the shit tokenomics but refused to do so.
Still holding my bags though, no point in selling now. The product has an actual use case so I'm hoping to at least break even. Thanks for reading my blog post.
