a bug 3 years ago right after the mainnet launched. a block got duplicated 7 times. technically a minting/inflation bug, not a double spend. it's a fairly common ledger bug, Bitcoin itself has had two such minting bugs in its lifetime. ETH had one as well. BTC's was pretty severe since someone exploited the bug and minted 184 billion BTC so they had to hard fork. AVAX's only minted ~700 AVAX, so they decided to not hardfork like BTC had and instead burned the amount of AVAX from their foundation wallet to keep the maximum supply of AVAX the same.

Five years after launch i would expect the big push since that's how fundamentals work, but only one thing drives price and that is the action of folk buying at higher prices on an exchange. How these companies are being onboarded is a mystery to us, ava labs could have a reserve of coins they are giving away or selling at lower prices to establish the chain, which again, is only really solid in the long run. Till then price action remains unaffected.
