ledger works on all chains, i've used it. And i agree the back door thing is an issue but they've spent a long time on it before that came out. I have no doubt that itll be way faster to integrate trezor now that they've done ledger.
not to mention that you always have the $100 chrome book option, chainweave is actually pretty great now that I've figured out how it works (not normie friendly, but ecko wallet is super normie friendly and integrates with ledger)
plus people dont seem bothered by the ledger thing

ecko integrates with HW wallets which is great. personally because of the lack of a good solution i split my KDA between many wallets.
