The day of the apocoLOLypse has arrived. Anon, feeling a bit hungry after running out of cheetos and monster drank still has a bottle of craft beer and some Domino's pizza crusts left from his preps but wants to flex his wealth amongst the starving idiots who didn't stack. He goes outside and walks for 45 minutes sees devastation all around but no vendors selling chickie tendies no Milfs wanting to sell their daughters. Disappointed he walks on and sees a crowd ahead and smells delicious fried food.... SUCCESS! He waits patiently feeling smug when he sees the price of $600 for a plate of fried rat on a bed of rice because he was right there was hyperflation. He gets to the front of the line pulls out of his box of rocks, a Merc, a Morgan, a golden Krug, a bar and even his precious FRENbucks from MintScamAnon (Premium code FREN) with the funny picture of the $ getting buckbroken by silver and desperately explains that they are real money and that one dime should buy 29 rats plus one virgin. Tyrone the security guard kicks him in the balls and bitch slaps him to the cheers of the starving crowd, his box of rocks spills to the ground and is ignored. Forgotten, he tries to collect his rocks and stumbles home and ropes, still clutching his treasure chest of garbage. His mommy finds his body the next day and throws the rocks in the trash along with the tranime figurines which (not) oddly smelled of feces, keeping the Chinese box for her sons ashes. Turns out anon was on drugs the apocoLOLypse was all in his imagination.

New article from Ted Butler explaining how there is more gold than silver in bullion form existing, yet the insane levels of manipulations are getting more absurds by the day, necessary to keep silver suppressed :

https://silverseek.com/article/money-versus-metal

ps : before some D&C retard comes, he doesn't imply gold is overvalued, quite the contrary, but that silver is super undervalued.

Not much new stuff said in his article, but he makes an interesting point about central banks being major physical gold slurpers : if they absorb so much (and for good reasons), they also then have the ability to flood the market in the event they are forced to sell for X or Y reason (war?), which could be pretty devastating for the price action short term.
While since central banks don't own any silver (and he remind us it wasn't *that* long ago the largest silver bullion owner was the US government), they do not have this kind of leverage anymore, and in the event they want to start to slurp silver too with the same budget they do with gold currently, the price would be catapulted upward instantly.

When I enter my redpill compounding laboratory every dose is specifically customized for the individual's circumstances and personality. If the dude is based then the right redpills administered at the right times will find fertile soil, but if he is a disgusting normoid and you dump a wholesale pallet of pills then he'll probably just forbid his wife from associating with you and any other schizos from her past. Maybe an introduction to "The Great Taking" and cautioning him to hold a prudent reserve of physical assets to balance his IRA or brokerage holdings would be a fair start.

>>56649879
There are countless cases of people buying "big" things like vehicles or plots of land with silver. The value density of gold makes it much more convenient, but if you've read about different richfag rancher and casino owner stackers like LaVere Redfield you'd see multiple cases where they preferred silver and amassed stacks weighing multiple tonnes. Depends on the person, their comfort level with different coin/bullion products and access to a Sigma but I have the space to store silver and would be more inclined to accept it versus gold due to the risk of tungsten coins/bars.

this is the part that these dipshits don’t understand. there’s nothing magical about precious metals. the only thing that makes them “precious” is their scarcity. the idea that they’re inflation proof is equally retarded and demonstrably wrong: gold and silver both devalued like fuck when the spaniards starting sucking tons of the stuff out of the new world and taking it back to europe. aluminum is another example that shit used to be worth more than silver. they even capped the washington monument with it because of it’s value. then some dude figures out a cost effective way to refine the ore and now the stuff is cheap as shit. that ain’t even the end of the story. for most people, buying bullion is retarded. you get fucked on both ends: retail people can’t buy it at spot and can’t sell it at spot. you’re always paying more to buy and getting less to sell. that’s how the retail bullion market works. so in order to make money not only does the price have to go up, it has to go up enough to cover those costs. then there’s liquidity which none of these dorks seems to understand: it’s harder to move bigger denominations. they flat out aren’t worth the same. want proof? look at the cost of buying a kilobar vs buying the same amount in 1 oz rounds (yeah, i know that doesn’t work out exactly, just get close). the cost of the rounds is higher because they’re more liquid. so when some dipshit trundles down to the local coin shop with a wheelbarrow full of kilobars he’s going to get his eyes ripped out on the price. that is if the coin guy will take them in the first place. all these things are factors that people who know what they’re doing take into account and then usually avoid buying bullion.

I remember an anon posting a bunch of political cartoons from the 1800s a couple years ago talking about a bimetallic standard. I don't even remember if the cartoons were for or against it. I could never figure out even what a bimetallic standard would be. Wouldn't it make sense to be trading in gold for things like houses and silver for things like t-shirts or cheeseburgers?

you didnt lose anything because you never bought. further, everything is down due to inflation. my stocks have stagnated, crypto is enjying a minor bullrun but that will get nerfed thanks to larry finkelsteins blackrock ETF of eth and btc. there really isnt a safe heaven outside of metals. my stack remains and is a big boy savings account. meanwhile the only thing earning "alot" with little to no risk is the treasurydirect account i use to buy tbills and notes; merely as a form of gauging the market and noticing (they dont want you to notice) interest rate trends. even guns are down somehow in this global warlike climate and bullets about the only thing to 30% up and that was very brief.

thats when we took away the power of purchase from the people. before this any jackass with silver/gold ore could have it minted into coinage. thats where the nations money supply came from, people bringing it to the mint.

yankee bankers and rostchilds in england didnt like this. first step was to nerf the bimetal standard so they could effectively control the gold market

Not on eBay or from online bullion dealers, you want to visit/call some coin shops and ask about their scrap/cull bins of stuff they sell to refineries. They may have a tray of cheaper "cull" dollars that are just heavily worn but you want to look at the actual culled scrap stuff destined for a crucible. If you have a based shop nearby then you'll be able to buy cull coins at spot price which is of course more than they'd be paid by their refinery. They'll be obviously cleaned, horribly dirty/rusty, worn slick pocket-pieces, holed/soldered ex-jewelry, or visibly and distractingly dinged/scratched but I think many of the cleaned, super dirty, and pocket piece dollars are worth getting at spot.

Here's a scrap bin dollar that I advised my dad to buy earlier today, an otherwise nice 1881-S Morgan that was crudely engraved "Vegas '57" and thus too damaged to command a normal numismatic premium. I thought it was a cool piece of Las Vegas gambling history and suspect it was one of the nicest dollars that poured out of a slot machine when the owner hit the jackpot (most slot machine dollars were pretty worn down by the latter '50s) and then kept as a memento of their win. For $17.25 it's hard to go wrong, and I'm sure a collector of Vegas gambling related stuff would pay a worthwhile premium for it even though most numismatists wouldn't.

yep
get a crucible, or if you can't get a crucible just carve out a hollow in a charcoal briquet

Set your torch up on some sort of rigged stand so the flame is aimed at the crucible. This is going to take a very long time and you don't want to be holding a torch for hours.

set the metal in the crucible, light the torch. Set it to a flame of an inch and a half or so.

next the important part. Put the tip of the flame on the metal. It has to be the tip touching the metal, anywhere lower in the flame isn't hot enough. As the metal melts you'll have to sometimes adjust the torch on the stand to keep just the tip touching.

This will melt an ounce of silver in about an hour, maybe a bit less.

>every single post is double digit IQ shilling of silver

This! These silver scammer shills need better material since it's midwits who fall for the scam. That's why there's a high overlap of silver shitcoin stackers and the trans community. It takes a certain level of intelligence to process the effective FUD like muh collapse muh comex muh hyperflation. Drooling retards would just go huh and go back to picking their nose but mudwits would think I'm so clever yes if I just buy this rock I will be someone get the recognition I deserve and buy a virgin and a mansion for 10 cents

Never heard of that but it sounds interesting, is it an oldschool miners' lifehack? I have some nice 2"-2.5" diameter solid oak branch charcoal that has less ash and gravel junk than briquettes, do you think that stuff would perform better with a slower burn rate and better insulating properties?

Why are the silver shills so aggressive lately? Last bread was truly something else, we had like what, 35-40 differents IDs all shilling exclusively on silver?

Yesterday i was wandering on /pol/ and in the first 5 pages of the catalogue there were 3 silver threads full of the usual silver scambots pastas. Popping out of nowhere. Just silver random bot-spamming.

Why are they shitting their pants so hard right now? I don't remember any recent news worthy of such organized shilling : price is boringly crabbing, no banks collapsing, delayed financial armageddon, slow paced depression as usual instead, and whales are pumping shitcoins once again. men make and save money

this is how sex works. Biology requires men to make a living to support a helpless wife and kids. The wife doesn't want a man that's going to knock her up and then not have any resources to support her and the kids for a while.

both men and women like to show off wealth, though women do it a bit more than men. So women like jewelry and other display items.

men like to HAVE wealth, so we like coins and bars.

as to which one is right, they both are. Men are programmed to store food or silver or cash or whatever. Women are programmed to spend it. Both are programmed to show it off.

The majority of hobbies are dominated by men. That's because hobbies for the most part are insular. Women are mentally geared towards group culture, which usually means they gravitate towards the lowest common denominator of activity such as shopping, looking after the kids and showing off their fellas to other women as a form of light competition. The best example of a hobby that they are equal to men is probably the garden, but that might be because it is an extension of the house but located outside of it. You would think that music would also be equal to men, but in my experience of writing music and DJing, it is yet again dominated by men. Fucking sucks to be honest, I would love more women to be into hobbies in general because the ones that I have come across that are into them are fucking awesome to chat to, so if you come across a real woman who's into stacking precious metals you've found a rare one. They're probably rarer than osmium is in the Earth's crust, and I'm not joking when I say that.

I would forage for quarters at the laundrymat and look for silver dimes at the aluminum can return while dodging crackheads. Do dishes at the greasy spoon for permission to search for silver in the tip jar. Off time spent getting ready to look for copper pennies in storm drains– Silver was supposed to provide me riches and virgins but you can’t have that now. The system fucked up. We did what they told. Silver becoming useless wasnt supposed to happen until after I got rich, now I can't even afford sex robots, etc. But the happening came too soon. The premiums were too darn high. So you and me get to live in the time of poverty and despair. But only for us.

And this is why gold will be the market leader in gains. Because the least amount of people will benefit from its rise. Do you think bankers want poor people to benefit from playing the metals game? Allowing Gold and Silver to be money is way too egalitarian. The central banks are going to fuck over as many people as they can and this is done making gold money and excluding silver. The least amount of people must benefit for the few to benefit the most.

Not really, just few lots of old silver & copper coins and a medieval monetary weight, but nothing especially noteworthy. It's pretty calm rn.

>I've been traveling a lot the past 10 days
Nice, you visited the countryside? Where have you been fren?

>did you get that 161.8g batch of coins/bracelet yet?
Not yet. Idk why but the postal services are a total mess since a week or so. Big delays, and half the tracking numbers aren't being updated online and it create a really messy situation, with unscrupulous people trying to profit from the situation. Will be easy for pieces of shit to claim their stuff never arrived and get a refund.

That said, i might be onto something potentially interesting today, and would like your insight. Have you already seen hallmarks like these? I'll post a second pic. Normally diamond shaped marks are reserved for silver here, as the jeweler's mark. But i've never seen 2 on the same item, so it's probably not french (or many provincial), and idk what to make of this ovale mark either.. What i can tell for sure is the design and weight definitely match with old yuro silver flatware (weight about 90g each).
Do you have any idea what it is fren?

FDR screwed the American people over far more than I previously thought. Listen to this video and read about the default on the 4th liberty bonds of WW1. The government will do everything they can to screw you out of any gold they owe you. Doesn't matter even when the Supreme Court rules in the people's favor. Bonds are for chumps.

Nope I've never seen those marks before bro, I spent some time digging around and couldn't find anything useful. One would think the 7-rayed Sun and the 2 serpent chalice/goblet marks would be distinctive enough to turn up some results but if any discussion of the marks exists online it's unlikely to be in English. I do agree that they look like good old siler though, have you studied all the pics to make sure there is no evidence of plating wear-through?

I was out east in Maryland visiting family and my 2 grandparents who are 94 and 96, I wanted my kids to meet them while they still can. I also did some exploring of very old (for the USA) towns, fishing for the magnificently esculent Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab, and fossil shark teeth hunting. Pic is from a spot along the Potomac River where a fossiliferous 56-59 million year old layer is eroding and lots of cool little teeth can be slurped. It was a great trip, but I need to go back and take advantage of some top-tier coin/jewelry treasure-hunting opportunities I discovered but couldn't act upon.

We are talking about tens of thousands of tons of gold here, and the asians never got a single gram back, because your government said they were fake when they came to claim back their stuff post war lol.

At least, the yuros got a tiny portion back after De Gaulle started to REEE to get back the french gold we entrusted you with during WW2 and before your (((gubment))) broke their part of the deal by cancelling the bretton wood agreements.

Fucking crooks. Believe me, the chinese/viet/etc.. aristocracy still is extremely salty about this theft.

And don't get me started with the Kennedy bonds, the mother boxes bonds, the Philadelphia bonds, etc...
There is an entire parallel economy behind the curtains, where insane amounts of liquidity are traded through promisory notes with very long maturity, and who often come with diplomatic immunities. This rabbit hole is so deep it makes your head spin. There isn't just one layer of fake money, but several ones. Cash is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you're referring to the wide beveled tip area which would make it relatively sharp I have seen that feature on a different old French spoon I have, it came from the silversmith like that and I think was done to make cutting into and eating grapefruit or other citrus easier. Not sure what purpose it served on those bigger spoons though. Be sure to study other pictures because in my opinion that alone isn't good evidence of it being solid.

Regarding fossils, there are plenty of other whale, dolphin, crocodile, and other animal bones and teeth that can be found there, dinosaur fossils too, and fossil seashells are ubiquitous. Here's a cool shot of the same 56-59 million year old layer from an exposure about 20 miles away.

Tricky question, i learned about it first from Joseph P. Farrell's Hidden System of Finance.
Here few vids of fed agents lying through their teeth after private flip, chink and italian owners asked for $3T (yes, trillions lol) of 70 years maturity superbonds (100M USD a pop, from 1934) before a courtroom, i uploaded to bitchute because this shit have been wiped clean from nu-internet :
https://www.bitchute.com/video/hFTGAfeq1kVs/
https://www.bitchute.com/video/V0OYXvYdEtWl/

And here and there you see (discret) headlines popping up, always pretending it's forgeries, etc.. but when you dig deeper, the supposed "forgers" (who the fuck will forge 1 trillion USD bonds, seriously? who is stupid enough to forge non-existing things?) are parts of the Japan imperial family, or rich italian embassadors tied to the Medicis, etc...

Dw i know this kind of spoons (who are very unpleasant to use btw, i've no idea why they did it either) but i was talking about how uneven the left "side" is compared to the right side, and i've seen that on other 1800s silver spoons of this style. Idk if it's wears here, or if it is simply a badly casted one, but i've one like this at home where you can clearly see it was shaved from one side but not the other.
I thought it could be the same here maybe.

>what are you gonna do with those?

People definitely do make necklace pendants but the world of fossil autists is just like that of numismatic autists so I identify and keep in my collection examples from different parts of the jaws of different species. I was born in Maryland and collected a bunch of teeth when I was younger so that haul is just a few more drops in my bucket. I don't need most of them so will let my kids give some to friends at school, most youngsters think fossil teeth are pretty sweet so it's a good use for them.

And thank you very much for the recommendations and links! Regarding this though:
>(who the fuck will forge 1 trillion USD bonds, seriously? who is stupid enough to forge non-existing things?)
I have seen people in the Philippines, where the USA was actively involved from 1898-1946 and the legends and lore of the Yamashita treasures runs strong claim to have found boxes of bonds that look like your pic >>56660095 and they seem pretty sus to me. Reading the stories of some Flips who post on treasure forums it seems like there is an organized scam in the country where con-artists approach gullible greedy people and offer to sell cases of bonds that they found digging a house foundation or in a cave etc. but for whatever reason can't go cash-in themselves, then the scammer disappears and the buyer is left with modern counterfeit/fantasy junk. That of course doesn't mean all such bonds are fake, the fakes are probably modeled after real original ones that were defaulted upon, perhaps the scam is a glowie operation to muddy the waters or poison the well and make the casual observer think that no real bonds of the sort ever existed?

>>56660498

>the 3rd Reich financed their war effort by making fake UK & US bonds and bank notes during the 30s.

Incontrovertibly based.

>And they were of so high quality the OSS literally stole what they could from the nazis and cashed them in at home for black budgets lol!

Incontrovertibly kiked, swindling their own people to fuck around and make more enemies overseas sounds like the muttmerican modus operandi in a nutshell, God help us.

I dunno how fake bonds would work if serial numbers were checked when being cashed in, maybe the intermediary banks who bought them got shafted when trying to turn them in? I bet those German-made fake banknotes were even higher quality than the genuine bills though, it would be really cool to find an example.

That is kang Menelik II, Emperor of Ethiopia. Their old silver coins are pretty cool. Tinyboi to the left is an ancient c. AD 330 piece depicting the black kang Ezana of the Kingdom of Aksum (Axum). It's the earliest overtly Christian coinage ever struck.

>why does the Liberty on her hair band look like a microsoft paint job?
Strange, eh? A couple of factors seem to go into that. It's the same frosty bright as the background, so it it turns out bright. I'm not sure, but the frosted grain might be finer, too - making it more reflective. The big thing though, the letters are formed very slightly stamped into a flattened band of proof - the sloped edge between the frosted letters and the proof is therefore very much shorter than any other boundary area. The effect is then a sharp contrast between bright and dark, which gives an almost edited look. It really makes the "Liberty:" stand out.
Here's a crop from the original image.
