USA! Yes, let's all move to the USA, why not? It's still the best country in the world.
>Muh dystopian
>blablabla
Don't even get started; in the US, if you work a regular job, you can still afford to buy a car, tech goods, and all that within months, if not days. While in many countries worldwide, you can't even afford an iPhone 15, even if you were to work for years.
>But I don't care about tech goods
Come on, wouldn't you love to have a nice gaming rig, a car, and be able to afford good food so that you can build up a family someday? Yes, of course, you want that. You are no different from me or anybody else on this planet.

Convince me otherwise
Tips: You can't.

If I were there I would have nice gaming rig, a car, and possibly a wife too and a average job that pays me what I am truly worth.

lets start off simple with a green card, which is still retardedly hard to get. I sent in 3 separate applications to get a green card for my wife, each one denied on technicalities in how we filed the paperwork after 4-6 months of waiting. Got a quote from a law firm to handle it for $5k which is egregious. Marriage is the easiest path to a green card, supposedly. The expected cost if the application was approved is like $2k. She spent 1.5 years in the country technically "illegal" and absolutely nothing happened. She was pulled over multiple times by highway patrol for minor traffic violations and they never mentioned it because it's literally not their problem. The immigration system in the US is so fucking bureaucratic and inefficient it's comical. I can see first hand why people emigrate without papers because the alternative is wasting a massive amount of time and money to subject yourself to taxation. Yes it opens up a lot more jobs to you if you are reasonably educated, but most emigrants aren't. If they don't plan on settling in the US, a green card is nothing but a burden. The immigration system is completely fucked and needs reworked from the ground up

There are few places where you can make some serious gainz. The US, Switzerland, Czech Republic if you are a good entrepreneur and are well connected (not joking about CZ, it's really crazy how much money you can make there with all the loopholes in the system), and some other countries.
But the safest bet is of course the US where even a junior engineer is making decent money.
Alas, I can't find a company to provide me with a H1b visa so I am stuck in Scandinavia. It's decent enough here but the combination of medium salary + high taxation + living costs means that scandis are one of the most endebted people on the planet. "well-off", "happiest people on the planet", "high living standards"... everything depends on loans and I hate that. I will never take a loan from a bank.
I am an engineer with a master's degree. I honestly thought getting a visa would be easier but I guess I'll have to wait and get way more experience before being considered. Fugg

The story I've got from most immigrants, legal or not is they had a family member or a friend who already moved and "set up shop", so the migration isn't nearly as difficult because there is a clear landing point and someone who can help you integrate into society (place to live, work, etc.). It's harder when you are the one having to bootstrap that process, because you will literally have nowhere to live until you get a job and work for a few weeks. Where do you want to live, which place has the best balance of opportunity and community to support you (vs a den of backstabbing criminals who will try to exploit you like a slave due to your vulnerable position). That's the difficult part. I've heard of people getting a job in a mexican restaurant and living there for a few weeks to save up enough money before moving in with someone else, then eventually getting their own place. It's a process. But within a few months it snowballs pretty hard.

Since you understand english pretty well, it would make it a whole lot easier for you. There's so many illegals who don't understand the slightest lick of english and tons of white boomers who want to hire them but can't because of the communication gap. People who bridge that gap make decent money as foremen/supervisors, comparable to the average american.

It's definitely a leap of faith and some luck is involved, such is the nature of emigration. But mostly it comes down to proper planning and meeting the right people. With the right plan, you will meet the right people, and everything else follows.

>> No.56642332

Should go without saying but the most obvious suggestion is "follow the money". The best place to be is a reasonably well developed part of town with low crime. You won't be able to live there initially, but you *should* work there, because that's where the money and the police are. A bunch of criminals looking to exploit your labor or rob you are less likely to operate in an area with strong police presence, for obvious reasons.

Theres basically something for everyone, and the country prizes hard work but its also really good into getting you into the systems of debt. its a trade off.

America is almost impossible to immigrate to without money.
You can try going to school here, getting F1. You need to get accepted into a college and show that you or someone else can financially support you.
If you have a degree, and can find a specialized job, you can try H1B, which has its own retarded rules.
You can save up, invest $50k in a business, and get an E2 if you're in an eligible country. I think Brazil is one.
You can try to get married to an American.
Easiest way without dealing with crossing the border is to get a tourist visa, fly here on vacation, and never leave. That's how the majority of illegal immigrants get here.
This is not legal advice, but I'm not gonna tell you what to do.

The entire reason I started a business in Europe was to open up a branch in the US one day and secure myself an investor's visa.
It beats playing the green-card lottery.
I don't care about the politics, the people or even the infrastructure. I want 1000 acres of fields and forest with a cozy log cabin in the center of it all with a bunker filled with antique firearms, canned food, Glenfiddich 12 and a 2 TB server of pirated movies and vidya to weather any storm that may come.

You don't need EB5. You can open a branch office of your existing business and qualify for L1, port to EB1C, and get a green card. Or you can get an E2 for $50k like I said and renew it indefinitely, no path to citizenship though.

It's not too hard, you just need to find a good lawyer and rent a physical office for your business, along with other things to show your business and legit and that you'll have employees.
The threshold for qualifying for L1 is slightly more difficult than others so I strongly, strongly suggest going with a reputable lawyer.

EB1C is for multinational managers and executives.
You set up a business, get a new office L1 (L1A) for 1 year, extend it, maintain it, and then qualify to apply for the EB1C. The basis for the EB1C comes from the fact that the business has been active for at least 1 year. The EB1C allows you to apply for a green card by adjusting status. It's just a fancy word for applying for a green card while you're physically inside the US. If you were born in a European country, there shouldn't be any wait time to apply for a green card because the government has no backlog for countries other than China, India, etc. - it's why a lot of Indians on H1B have issues because they're here for 10+ years doing slave labor to get a green card eventually.
