I bought almost exclusively silver throughout the tail end of 2018, all of 2019 and the start of 2020. Despite averaging in very close to the cycle lows, I am still extremely dissapointed in my decision. Literally every other financial asset outperformed it. And I have to look forward to selling below fucking spot price to boomer resellers, after paying well above spot. I plan to sell it all in the next few weeks. What a waste of time.

the only way to think about gold and silver is as an insurance policy or a 0% treasury bond. It is nothing more but a place to keep your money in case things go wrong. In reality you should hope that you will never have to sell it because the time you do it's because of war, unrest, failure of banking systems, failure of financial system, etc.
It's an insurance policy. It's not an investment that you will get rich from. If you are getting rich from it, there is something much much much worse going on around you.
