What does /biz/ think about debt? Personally I don't like it.

>max out all your credit cards
>move to different country
>never pay them back
>problems weren't

I'm literally doing this right now.
If you disagree it's because you're a brainwashed jewcuck that thinks fiat money based on the USD has any value whatsoever. They're literally printing trillions out of thin air and buttfucking their wagegolemns from every conceivable angle and you expect me to care? LMAO

When VISA pulled out of Russia overnight at the start of the RU sanctions it got me thinking:
>How can that be?
>Weren't there millions of ruskies using visa?
>And now visa is just gone? Just like that?
>And what about their debts? Maybe Ivan used 1000$ on his visa to buy vodka, and now... that just didn't count?
>And now life goes on for them like nothing even happened while I am WORRIED ABOUT PAYING BACK JEW MONEY EVERY DAY

Exceedingly based, and exactly what I'm doing, plus 6 figs of student debt. Ironically, the student debt guarantees my exit from this country.

It depends entirely on what you're buying with that debt. If you're buying a car the value of that car is going down, if you're buying a house the value of the house is going up. Buy stuff with debt that will increase in value, especially if the rate that the asset will increase in value is greater than your interest rate.

So you can just move to another country and credit card companies will just go "ok nvm no more debt" and that's it?

>> No.56626810

>>56626757
Yes, but you will probably never have a credit card again or at least for a very long time.
Credit card debt is unsecured debt btw meaning no collections coming after you even if you don't move. look it up.

If it's a bank loan then collectors come after you, so all you have to do is simply not return to that country again.
I once worked with a Filipino who was telling me he got an 80k loan when he was working in Singapore, went back home and bought a huge plot of land and house in the country, and simply never, ever went back to Singapore. Now he works in Canada.

debt is for businesses, because you can declare bankruptcy on a business and have no personal repercussions. Personal debt is for retards and forever poors.

>> No.56627258

It's literal slavery. I remember the days of having a mortgage, a car note, amongst other types of debt. Even with a decent paying job, I could hardly save anything by the end of the month.

Debt SUCKS unless you say buy a house in an up and coming area where you can capture some sweet equity after 2-3 years of owning, then sell and run away with the cash. Holding on to a house comes with all types of unforeseen financial consequences though, so sell the top and scram.

Most people won't be willing to uproot their entire lives and never see everybody they know just because of debt. Having to learn another language to find work in a foreign country, needing to go through the citizenship process, etc is a huge pain. You ever try to not just be poor?

Last year, I took a $200k student loan just to invest on crypto, I targeted VINU, BTC and LINK
Most of them had a 5-10x, so I ended up with $1.5M by the end of the year, the debt paid itself and now I'm living a comfy life

Bong here
I owe £50,000 student loans and over €30,000 taxes from another European country
Currently live in China. Never going back to live in either country.
Invest all my money into crypto. Profit.

Debtors prisons do not exist. Debt is a civil law matter, not criminal. You can go back as much as you like
>Having to learn another language to find work in a foreign country
Also no. I've been living abroad in 15 countries for the last 22 years. I can only speak English and I'm in China rn, no way in fuck I'm gonna learn Mandarin
>needing to go through the citizenship process
I have never had citizenship for any country except my own
Something tells me you don't really know what you're talking about

The guy I was responding to literally said
>If it's a bank loan then collectors come after you, so all you have to do is simply not return to that country again.
So I was responding in kind. And as for what you're saying, not being able to settle down in one place is horrible. Absolutely horrible. And is not living the good life.

Why do you think I cannot settle down? I can settle down any time I like. I choose to travel the world instead. If you don't like to travel, then k, I guess.

Are you not going to learn the local language and go for citizenship of the country you're going to settle down in for presumably the rest of your life? If you are, then great. If not, then that's very cringe. That's really what I take issue with in your case.

I'm learning Indonesian. Gonna retire next year and spend a couple of years travelling around the predominantly Christian islands. Already found one I love but feel compelled to check more out.
The language is easy, the women are ultra. The land prices are so low I have a hard time convincing people it's true. Including white sand beach detonations ($6000 USD for a couple of acres of pristine white sand paradise).
Bali is a normie thot Instagram dump. There are over 17,000 islands in Indonesia.
But even if I wasn't learning the language, don't judge people through a single one-dimensional metric

How bad of an idea is a 1k-1.5k grad student loan for crypto? Tuition is paid for, just have semesterly fees, will probably graduate >10k debt even with such a loan. Beyond that parents are taking undergrad debt (in theory), and have no other debt personally and good credit, I don't even have credit cards.
