the writing is on the wall ffs. they can only milk USDC's reserves for so long. Circle is going to get them shut down.

for the low IQ monkeys. if money is flowing into crypto, why is USDC's market cap down again?

tether has no us banking connections anymore. so swapping into USDC and cashing out is the way to go now.

Massive retardation. Tether owns Treasury bills.

low iq, tether owns treasuries directly bypassing the banking system.

Which means they are not forced to hold cash in banks which are forced to buy 30 year bonds giving 0.003% interest when infaltion is 6%.

Tether disconnection from the banking system is why it did not depegged during the sillicon valley crisis, while usdc depegged.

Also it does not help that usdc shills itself as a kosher coin and tries to sell itself to first world exchanges while most payments happen on global third world exchanges were tether dominates.

The SVB crisis and the fact that circle was not even sure if they had the cash made them look like clowns.

Just read this shit

https://www.circle.com/blog/an-update-on-usdc-and-silicon-valley-bank

even tether has behaved more professionally than this fuck DAI itself did.

USDC has a good future but it will take time to regain trust in them, it also does not help that alternatives like paxos binance usd were politically persecuted it makes them look like a bad actor pissing the global exchanges that move the most money.

Most of those are long dated. So they cannot sell them for cash, especially as yields continue to rise. And they will.

15 years. There's still time, low end mature capitalization for BTC is ~$15t in 2023 dollars, 32x real, 250-300x nominal over the next 20 years.
