It's not just the ETFs.
Here in Switzerland a bunch of government owned banks just started offering crypto or are planning to do so in early 2024 because they're seeing strong customer demand:
PostFinance, Luzerner KB, Zuger KB, Thurgauer KB, St Galler KB.
German banks Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank applied for crypto custody licenses, Volksbanken are planning to offer crypto to regular customers as well.
I imagine banks in many other countries are doing the same thing. The bull market can easily come as a self-fulfilling prophecy.
