the reason why it's different is largely the consensus protocol, it's more advanced than ethereum

an overlooked advantage of avalanche is that you can easily market it. you cant market ethereum because you'd also have to market one of the layer 2s and sound like some desperate bagholding autistic while trying to justify its rube goldberg approach to scaling
