Gonna repost this because the other thread got derailed by some JIDF poster. https://www2.hkej.com/instantnews/stock/article/3603436 .
The site in chinese and since I know some of you are too retarded to know how to click the translate button on the browser here is the text

>Yucheng Technology partners with Chainlink Labs to develop cross-chain fund tokens
Yucheng Technology ( 00279 ) announced its cooperation with Chainlink Labs to develop compliance and cross-chain interoperability fund tokens on major public chains to
provide All products and services are still subject to regulatory approval.

Through Chainlink's reserve certificate and cross-chain operating system (CCIP), investors who subscribe for cross-chain fund tokens can continue to stay in the original blockchain community, and at the same time obtain investment income generated by legal currency through Yucheng Technology's investment platform.

After obtaining the required regulatory approvals, Yucheng Global, a subsidiary of Yucheng Technology, and its global licensed partners may become placement agents and fund managers for this product and other financial products based on distributed ledger technology.

What does this mean bros? From what I understand the Chow Tai Fook family is a pretty big deal in china that holds companies in various sectors. They started in jewelry from what I can tell, and have dabbled in blockchain in the past but discontinued the service. How are Yucheng and CTF connected though? It seems like this could be a pretty big deal but the details are scarce right now. Supposedly there's some talk with Sergay going on in about 10 minutes but I don't know the details.

Chow Tai Fook:

Efforts in blockchain:

Cancelling the service
https://www.gia.edu/discontinuing-blockchain-report

How does this relate to Yucheng Tech though? They appear to offer financial services to Chinese banks but preliminary research hasn't shown to what degree.

No, Hong Kong is a special administrative zone with a certain degree of autonomy regarding their financial system. It allows the CCP to test new innovations while keeping the mainland fairly insulated if things were to go wrong. CCIP is considered as an extension to the power of Hong Kong's private banks' ability to mint their own currency. Regulatory approval in this case would come from Hong Kong and not the CCP. The SIBOS talk with that HK guy goes a bit in depth with this.
