I warned you over the weekend that we would bounce, that we were very far below average true range across many, many sectors plus the indices themselves
I warned you not to short the bottom - to in fact sell SPY puts when we were below the ATR
We are now back above the 20EMA, between the 20EMA and the upper ATR
If you are bearish, this is when you would be taking profits on your dip buying / put selling, and be starting to DCA/build your short position
Mumu is retarded and chases both ways
We hit the bottom, mumu buys puts
We hit this top, mumu buys calls
Stop doing this. Lol.
Literally just add keltner channels to your chart and never make a retarded trade shorting the bottom or longing the top ever again
chart hasn't updated for the $426 today, but it is above the 20 EMA
this is when the rally starts to exhaust - today going into tomorrow

that doesn't mean

this means if it makes sense to, take profits on your winning long positions, DCA/scale out

Tech stocks are held up by cheap energy and advertising revenues. The former is closing as israel palestine conflict expands and oil goes up OPEC can play games but reality sucks. Google is losing money to ad blocking neets and its setting a domino effect that will make them look worse to institutes, big money moved to microsoft years ago. Microsoft will bleed money to windows UX designers taking over and will be a bloated company and pop like meta did in 2022, apple will fail to hit sales figures in future years, tesla will crash as musk burns money on X and fails to realize the internet is economic waste as 4chan proved for decades, this will all combine into the real tech crash. Larry fink talking about bonds and CDs was a signal they are moving out of the passive investing game. Dividends of boring industries like healthcare energy materials will rebound and bullrun in the latter half of 2020s until mid 2030s or so. Mag 7 will be growth stocks in healthcare like phizer and abbvie and breakout 3d printer companies. Meta google tesla will be boring dividend stocks with small yoy growth after their marketcaps half and money from them leaves to bitcoin and other stocks. Apple and microsoft will fail to hit 5 trillion marketcaps and stay below 2 trillion for a decade.

It has to be somebody else's fault, obviously not your own lack of risk management when holding triple leveraged ETFs long term. Naturally, any gains are from your unique skill. But when you lose there has to be somewhere to point the finger at hence your desire for funnymentals, a narrative the talking head on CNBC can whisper to make it alright when your account is down and you're not feeling so good about it. What are you talking about anon? If SOXX closes above the 200 day moving average today I'll be 100% in SOXL tomorrow at 9:30am sharp. I lose a little bit in the whip saw but make bank long term as SOXL goes up. And if SOXL plummets down along with the market for whatever reason then my account is saved. What's wrong with that? Heads I make bank, tails I lose a small amount. The alternative, without the risk management, is either make bank or lose it all and get demoralized. Yeah fuck that

Chill, I was a bear and bull this year, and have done alright at different times.
I get why bears are bearish. The macro picture is ugly AF. But I get why bulls are bullish, Wall Street kikes aren't giving up anytime soon, and we're going to keep pumping for a few months at least.
Long term, the picture is very negative.

Either go cashgang or just stay long until you see an obvious breakdown. The way the market keeps rallying even after a pullback tells me the direction is bullish for now but I can't ignore the macro.
Especially after the yield curve bear steepening.

The real problem is everyone wants their way immediately. Things like bear steepenings don't cause instant crashes. But there is a chance of a real fuckhueg crash over the coming months.

It's really annoying. If you're doing anything other than buying OTM calls on SPX everyone says "omg retarded bears."
Things have value, usually the value goes up, sometimes it goes down. You can often make half decent predictions about both the value and the way the market will (mis)price it based on fundamentals and macro economics. Saying that it's going to go down sometimes doesn't make you a perma bear, it just makes you correct.
For the record I was saying all month we'd get the rally here while I was buying puts for the spring and shorter term calls for the winter.

Yes, of course that has been the case. However you're talking about holding 3x leveraged daily rebalanced semiconductors. Your fate is in the asset managers at Direxion's hands. You need to be extremely careful and diligent to get out when things start to go bad. A day could come when the draw down is so big that SOXL, unlike the unleveraged indexes, actually won't go back up or at least for a really long time. Imagine holding SOXL through the dot com crash. That would have been a -99% drawdown. I haven't run the math but I don't think you would have recovered even now. Not that it would matter cuz SOXL would be delisted. I strongly urge you to manage risk and don't shit on other people who are doing that their own way. Nobody is saying there aren't multiple ways to make money
