is this right or wrong why VOO and SPLG (and other ETFs) cost different amounts? Say each share of SPLG has 2 shares of apple, then VOO would have 5. But relative to every other share apple is still 6% of the total fund. But I think if interest rates stay up for float to be profitable and the state forces vacation home owners to pay into a special fund, rates will come down on a relative basis.

A lot of those mobile homes are boomer summer cottages that are mostly self insured at this point. A lot of wood frame houses on the coast actually got fucked the most because they were raised so far out of the flood zone and for views that they were taking 20+ mph more sustained wind that old homes at ground level.

I kind of see every hurricane as a controlled burn where future damage (again relative basis) will be lower since the garbage builds are being taken out. Panhandle is basically cleared now and so is Fort Myers and Naples which is most of the risk area on the west coast.
