I personally found a nice place with low crime, quiet neighbourhood, and friendly and mostly educated people. Even the farmers because they're not rednecks like I see in american movies, they're educated farmers working an honest living and good at it too. My town doesn't even have 10k people, but yet there are multiple stores, short walks, train stations, bus rides to actual cities, anything you need for a good price with modern stores. 1/3rd the cost of living in a city. Nature. It's just nice. Small towns vary immensely, only a retard would go "small town? meth lol" because they saw 1 picture on 4chan or talked to a friend who knew a guy or because they lived in one of the poorest and dumbest small towns in the country.

RESEARCH YOUR AREA. It's not that hard. You can research literally everything from economic status, education, demography. You look at one small town and give up? Then you're retarded.
Actually I shouldn't even tell you guys this because I don't want retards in my town. Stay in the city you have more economic opportunities to become billionaires.

Granted houses are more expensive in nicer small towns than OP (200k-300k range) but still far cheaper than a million dollar tract home near an urban shithole or the thousands you'll sink into a broom closet to be near "the action" (lmao)

I did it you simps. Maxed out on risk and bought a used trailer. Neighbors are golden. No need to really sweat about getting a job, because fixing up my place is my job as long as I can afford to be a neet.

Property taxes are brutal, but it should be worth it for the quiet peaceful living and low crime rate.

About $1,100 for my beat-up trailer.
Snap i failed to mention, I own the small plot, it's not a trailer park, we own our plots, so no rent, but the tax rate as I mentioned is brutal. Plus heating a (poorly insulated) trailer is going to be expensive in winter. Summers are fine for climate reasons were I am.

I live in a small city in the Midwest and it’s pretty based. I wish I could go full yeet and move to an actual small town but I would need to either get a full WFH chad gig or know someone there to hook me up. The only town where I know I could get a job is in North Dakota and it’s a frozen shithole for 6 months of the year.
