Why is pmg bad at making GAINz? 1) They form a core belief about silver stacking based on articles read on biz or some guru on tiktok who lays out a very bad reason why they must buy silver. 2)once that mindset is formed (muh comex muh brics muh collapse muh hyperflation), it’s ogre. “Whatever belief gets planted first, that’s the one that feeds the brain worms 3) They lurk pmg and consume scam articles/websites posted by MintScamAnon or Peter Shifty that would lay out why silver is needed like "it will cure virginity". Breaking down the COMEX inventory(or lack thereof) and showcasing why, if something appeared bad, it was actually good for the long term prospects of silver. ie - the one you see most often “there is no demand for silver... which will benefit them long term if demand for silver magically happens” That cost them hundreds or thousands over the years in premiums. 4)opposite opinion articles wouldnt change that initial seed about BatBois even as demand for WAAGMI shitcoins craters. 5) The euphoria of a small quick gain in spot price of 24 cents keeps them attached and copeful, 6)They get in silos and identify as a losers club. It “feels good” to surround yourself with other losers cheerleading when your investment is tanking offset by the dopamine hits of someone poasting the gold plated PickleRick they lost $1400 on. 7)Nothing change their mind even a collapse of their wealth, over a long period of time. Do people make money from trading in stocks/crypto/options? Yes. But, FAR more people lose their ass by slurping silber at huge premiums. Remember, the ones who “claim” they crush it are A) lying OR B) are lying. pmg seems to be notorious for pushing crappy narratives to lose money. Be careful out there! I have found the best way to build massive money over long periods of time is 1) Don't buy silver 2) Don't buy silver 3) Don't buy Chinese made ashtrays made out of fake Spanish dobloons.

I have been trying to stick to the LCS for purchases. As fun as shopping online is, the ACH takes forever to save money on premiums and CC fees just ruins it. The biggest mistakes I make stacking have been impulse buys. When Russia and Ukraine was kicking off I panic bought a 100oz bar for like $3400 or something retarded. I must have been drunk or something to not consider how retarded expensive that is. (silver premiums were very high back in 2021-early 2022.)
Also, back in 2021 silver was high and premiums were outrageous and I generally thought prices would be moving into the $35-50 range and was paying top dollar because my stack was smaller and thought we would get priced out in a big way.
IMO, $35-50 is the scary time when we could be looking at some of the last days/weeks of cheapies. I want to have plenty of silver before that time so I don't FOMO.

Anything undervalued really.
Even though i mostly focus on silver and gold, but i plan on diversifying a bit. Over here (frogistan) it's pretty easy to score below spot.
Even for constitutional silber, i sometimes see 5F semeuse lots going for 17-18€/oz. Not saying it's the norm, but it happens.

Pic rel is my slurp of today for example, a bunch of knives carriers. 148€ for 400gr (.950). When i started doing this, i'd have jumped up the ceiling for scoring this, nowaday i'm like "meh, ok, not bad but could be better" lol.
But i bid on 2 dozens items after scrolling through many pages of crap to finally only win this one, and most the time there were only 1 or 2 ppl overbidding me. If my price target was a bit higher i would most likely have won the others auctions too, but i'm too poor to afford everything being sold on ebay so i've to limit myself to a low price per oz.

My favorite is targeting lot of various old silver coins. You often ends up with something carrying numismatic value. I don't mean crazy ass stuff, but like a dime worth 12 bux because it's a rare date in good condition. But when you paid by the silver content and below spot, this 12€ winner only costed you like 1€, so it further drive down the cost of the rest of the order. Sometimes pretty significantly.
That said it's way more time consuming than buying regular silver scrap, as here you go back and forth on Numista and sold listings, checking up every coin you see sold in a lot, sometimes with crappy pics you have to enhance and modify via windows to see what's up. Scoring good deals is a mix of luck and hours of dedicated work too. Don't expect good deals to jump out of the water to end up directly in your mouth.

Not sure about the new guy, but I was always just trying to warn you guys about the things I learned in decades of stacking. Like you're probably not going to make a lot of money. Might even lose money. The collapse probably isn't coming any time soon. If it does, your metals aren't likely to help you. Silver and gold aren't going to get you laid unless you sell them and hire a hooker. Even then a merc isn't going to get the job done. Collecting coins is a super fun hobby, but not really a plan for the future. You could view it as a fairly awful savings account, but most of you don't even see it that way. Your hopes of getting rich or ruling the world or buying property are probably misled, and perhaps even hindered by your hobby, as iqdelet suggests. Most of you (us) have diagnosable mental and social deficiencies that are way more likely to get us killed in the absence of society than our metals or guns are likely to save us. Resentment of happy and "successful" people being one of the biggest handicaps we carry. Along with a whole lot of anger misdirected at a society and system that disadvantages us and robs us of power. Perhaps rightly.

anyways, take it or leave it. Just the observations of an old-school stacker who already knows where all this is heading for most of you. It's not about the metals. Your attitudes, fears, and anger are what feed the trolls. And you guys have plenty of all three.

I see what you're saying, and I think your observations and the psycho analytical profile you've described has some truth to it, but I don't see how you could have stacked for decade(s) plural(?) and not made money. yes, I often made money. But if I had known then what I know now, I would have been buying houses, not coins. The money I made might have offset inflation, sometimes I lost money. I've no clue why he's sharding and farding himself so hard over it kek, but he can't help himself and mention it in every thread, i think i may have a fanboy (who will never be a fangirl). He also remind me i still didn't post the "king Georges tea set" as he's calling it, as i promised i would. I still have to finish to polish up the forks, but it should be really for the pics tomorrow!

>but I'm sure your next score of that sort will tip the scales and prompt his speedy induction to the 41%
It could have happened last morning actually, with a complete x24 silverware set of nippon .950 Suzuyo auctionned as silver plated for 15 bux starting price, but in the end it didn't work out. Once again, the auction disappeared one hour before the end. It happen each time i'm targeting a truly sick deal lately.
It reminded me how you talked about this a while back, when you were fuming because you thought you weren't aggressive enough by contacting the sellers to short-circuit the auction and propose a deal by mail directly, while others, let say less "scrupulous" buyers wouldn't hesitate.
Do you think this is what could be happening to me?

Did you develop a strategy to play it smart with a seller in this kind of situation? I'm always scared to appear too needy and make the seller suspicious so he'd second check what he's selling, and figure out he's sitting on a treasure... So i never tried to shortcut the auction yet.

Otherwise, any good deal on your end side this week fren? Can't wait to see what kind of cheapies you got.

also gold kept up with inflation far better than silver has. You guys see this as a buying opportunity, silver is undervalued. I see it as a rule of economics by this time. Silver has consistently underperformed for 60 years now. It will probably never catch up to gold, let alone beat it.

That's what i feel is the most dangerous part of digitalized """assets""".
Since you never had the opportunity to physically touch them and "bond" with them, once they are gone you aren't even that mad, because they never truly existed to you.
When i lose a silver coin i'm going full psycho and will flip the room upside down to find it back, and if i don't, it will truly upset me. For 25 bux worth of metal.

But when i lose $5K in the (((stock market))), i'm barely reacting, just a big *sigh* then i light up a cig.
This is also why our "elites" can plunder us non stop. People aren't mad angry when their life savings are gone because it all was so detached to reality to begin with.
Look at Mashinsky or SBF, how the fuck are they still alive? How come nobody ever tried to put a bullet in their cranium? Me think it's for the same reason. The Js really figured out the best way to steal everything from us in the safest manner : just make your supposed wealth so detached from reality your brain never truly considered it as wealth.

>I see it as a rule of economics by this time. Silver has consistently underperformed for 60 years now. It will probably never catch up to gold, let alone beat it.
As you said it's a rule by now, designed and enforced by men, and rules are meant to be broken when they are too detached from reality.

Because in 60 years not much have changed for the G:S ratio, almost always favoring gold, but it's been only decided by old men behind closed doors (quite literally if you remember the Rothschild price fixing room in the City of London). Gold being a more efficient vehicle of concentrated wealth per square meter was pretty much the lone factor deciding it as THE safe, tangible asset to the powers that be. And partially also because silver was useful elsewhere, thus central banks didn't want to compete with industries in the acquisition of their monetary benchmark.

But the economic and industrial reality changed a lot in 60 years, and the G:S ratio still have to catch up to it. Nothing reflect the 1:8 mining ratio we experience since a decade, who is soon to be 1:7, nothing reflect the massive under-investment in the silver mining sector, or the ever increasing demand in all kind of industries. Nothing in the price take into account silver is mainly a surface-level crust amalgaming metal, which means unlike gold we wont find more the deeper we dig. Nor is taken into account the withering of western nations, who knows, maybe new economic alliances wont want gold to remain the only monetary benchmark?

What i try to say here is gold was helped by central planners and richfags (who became always increasingly richer in a system they designed to only serve themselves). Silver had to do it all on it's own, with no help, no recognition from the big fishes, only by virtue of being useful and unique in it's own way.

The only unknown factor is the timeline, it could still take a while before this correction manifest into reality, but i'm persuaded it's inevitable.

There was the same antisemitism, the same "next year we have a collapse", the same of what we read here again and again. Seeing events like the Ruby Ridge and Waco sieges or the Oklahoma city bombing through the alt.survival lens was a wild ride. At around 2000 or so i had enough of it.
The experience there was very similar to the one you get here, everyone having another point of view was an enemy, everyone not holding the same core believes that society would end soon was a spy, a shill, an outsider. Nope, I “own” my own home and it will take me until my late 50s to pay off, and that’s if the bubble doesn’t fucking pop and I end up underwater in my mortgage, and therefore unable to refinance off of my 8% rate. More houses and/land is now impossible, that ship has sailed and anyone shilling that shit today as a good “investment” deserves to be shot. Cash is a rapidly depreciating asset, stocks haven’t been performing too hot lately and it’s only going to get worse before it gets better, and bond yields will never keep up with inflation (by design), and that’s if the government doesn’t default and send you a letter saying “you’re shit out of luck, no refunds”. You can thank those ugly, hook nosed goblins at the federal reserve for all of this. Physical gold and silver are the only assets these kikes cant fuck you entirely out of, and it makes them seethe beyond imagination. they can manipulate the price, sure, but only within reason. >Once again, the auction disappeared one hour before the end. It happen each time i'm targeting a truly sick deal lately.

If the items were changed to a Buy-it-Now and sold, or ended then relisted for a quick BIN sale then you will be able to see it in the sellers' sold listings. This certainly does happen often, but in cases where the seller ends a poorly listed auction early and it isn't relisted I think most of the time it's because they knew all along it was pretty good stuff and were worried about the low price or because some noob spilled the beans via direct messages and the seller decided to just go sell it as scrap themselves at a jewelry/coin shop.
Strategies really depend on the situation, but generally I think it is best to wait 1 or 2 days after it has been listed and not gotten any bids to send a polite message that doesn't come off as too thirsty and desperate, like: "Hello, I came across this while looking for a set similar to the one my Grandma used whenever I visited her for dinner. I'll promptly pay you XXX via Buy-it-Now if you want to edit the auction listing now, otherwise I will place a bid in X days closer to when it's about to end and we'll see how it goes. Thanks!"
This general strategy works quite well for me, as the seller thinks your interest is sentimental not because it's highly underpriced. Because you're not being forceful and are presenting them with 2 options; either $XXX now which is more than the opening bid of their auction with 0 bids, or they risk waiting X days for you to bid and potentially win it at a lower price. Very often they will take the bait, especially amateur sellers who are selling because they need quick cash.

That's a bot lol, but if you're genuinely on the fence about PMs I'll say: look at other fiat currencies and what happened after they started printing them into oblivion. No one makes out better after a reset, or adding zeros/new currency issue except the insiders who either swapped to a more stable fiat (no idea what that could be rn as the USD seems to be taking everyone down with it), or held PMs/other tangible liquid goods. In the US we hold a unique position in the world where physical PMs are not taxed and the premiums are not subject to price fixing. There's no good reason NOT buy some. Watching the USD rn is like watching news everyday about your bank closing branches, selling assets, and edging closer to insolvency, but you're wondering if you should move some money into a credit union? I consider PMs cheap insurance. I don't think you'll be trading merc dimes for blowjobs, but...who knows? I'd rather have that option if it arises though lol.

All my life I've appreciated Lead's low melting-point and versatile, malleable, and usefully dense properties. FIAT is never going to go away, the world relies on it too heavily and if the US economy reaches a state where it and FIAT currency are collapsing then having PM isn't going to help, we'll be trading in bullets, water, food and services not silver chunks.

PM as a currency only happen LONG after the collapse, not directly or during. You get a barter system during a collapse.

You buy PMs for two reasons, it's fun and as an investment. If ALL your investments are in PMs then you're an idiot, you need to diversify. You're a lot less likely to see your investments being worthless with PMs, and you avoid the Jew closing your account because you didn't read line 1,234,983 in their T&Cs but you're not immune to all the other risks.

The future is going to be government backed blockchain currency where they control how you spend, where you spend and what you spend it on.

CBDC is their plan, but that doesn't mean it will happen, or that even if it's instituted that it will work out for long. I think we're giving our elites too much credit lately. They're obviously becoming increasingly more desperate, unhinged in their policies, and if their propogaganda is any gauge of it: terrified. I won't pretend I know what's going to happen, but I get the feeling that this decade might go down like the Roman expulsion of Judea. We're on the 3rd generation of jew banker fuckery. It appears to have run it's course and we're watching the last gasps of power and the looting of treasuries. Our debt to gdp ratio is 124% and our leaders are passing 100billion foriegn aid packages which they assure us we can afford lol. This is not the actions of a government who believes our financial system is sustainable, let alone fixable, this is simply theft while there's something still available to steal. Happy to help frogbro! Every seller is different but if you have strong intuition you can develop a good sense for the personality and character of the seller from their pictures and writing style. Sometimes you might want to say it would be a good gift for your daughter, or mom, or wedding gift for a friend, or a cool thing to add to your collection, or something that might *finally* make your hard-to-please wife happy, or an item you've been looking for to use in an art project, or for decorating your home. Different men and women of different ages and personality types respond best to different things. For me, the story and writing style I deploy depends on my intuition/instinct about what kind of person the seller is and what would most likely make them feel good about agreeing to the deal beyond the money alone, it comes naturally so I don't spend time analyzing it. Just do what intuition suggests would be most effective and compelling without laying anything on too thick or potentially seeming insincere or disingenuous. Keep messages short and pleasant and casual, just 1 line about why you like/want it and the rest detailing the options you're offering them. You don't want to seem too insistent or excited about them editing the auction and accepting a Buy-it-Now offer versus you placing a bid later, you want them to believe you don't care too much either way and have them think it's all their own wise and prudent decision to accept your generous offer above their starting price now instead of waiting on an uncertain final auction hammer price.

Essentially yes, but I don't think it's useful to be so harsh on anyone for believing that. There is a huge amount of effort to convince us that the people in power can do whatever they want, and there's nothing any of us can do about it. Reading that stuff daily will certainly make it real in your mind, thus the old adage: you're not immune to the propogaganda. Their power only exists because they can convince us to believe that their in control, but they fucking KNOW the numbers, which is why they're scared. It doesn't take a big percentage of any population to simply refuse to abide by a policy before it becomes completely unenforceable, and it takes an even smaller percentage to create fud in the middle classes that keep the ruling class in power, and that's where things get interesting lol. I think the COVID vaccine rates are a lie. I think they had to claim over 80% because even 70% would cause doubt in the groups who (actually) pay politicians. Nobody wants to back the losing team, and losing they are, so they have no other cards to play except to double down on the ridiculous and steal as much as possible on their way out. It's so clearly apparent, but the regular stressors of life, constant news cycle headlines, and fear and doom propaganda makes it hard to see for most.

Agreed, and...there are obviously some factions that also hold power and are opposed to the current trajectory. Someone created the Omnicron variant that swept around the world and turned COVID into literally just a flu. Someone melted Joe Biden's rental cars after a vacation once...wtf was that? Lol. Someone in .mil intelligence (we seem to know who now) leaked the satellite and drone footage from MH370 showing exotic technology, for no money or diabolical reasons according to the court docs. There are other groups and people already positioning themselves to fill leadership gaps or at the least, disseminate information and technology, and I don't think it's some Q tard trust the plan thing. I think there will necessitate a radical shift in our entire paradigm and that even commoners like us may find ourselves in service to our communities one day, working to reshape our town or state or nation. If you're demoralized and think that's unrealistic because you've read so much doom, or you believe some silly psy-op crap that makes you expect an outside group will come save you, then you'll just end up as an NPC living in a world that other men created for you again.

the case that stopped me from caring was my own state, the US. We have natives that undoubtedly have a legal claim to all of our land, but they also fought us and lost.

Israel is a similar situation as far as I know. Other people were certainly there before them, but those people fought them and lost. So it is what it is. I don't see the US handing the country over to the tribes any time soon, nor do I see israel giving up "their" land.

There might be some hardcore tribal goatfucker villages somewhere where your religious views might get you hurt, but I doubt the Paki or even Afghani Taliban would physically hurt you, let alone kill you just for being a Christian. In general, muslims view christians as misguided, but Muslim governments do and have ruled over countries of mixed religious populations for centuries, nevermind that many Muslim ruled or majority Muslim countries today are secular. But, none of that matters because the facts are pretty simple: look at Isreal's actions towards the US the past 80 years, then compare that with the Muslim world's actions towards us in the same time.

How many "Muslims" have been buying politicians and steering US policy, convincing western nations to open their borders, eroding our values, and selling our military secrets to our enemies? Now recall that we've invaded numerous Muslim countries and murdered millions probably? Of their citizens, many of them noncombatants, yet they've somehow still been less harmful to us than our "friend" Isreal.

Jews wouldn't put you in jail for being an atheist...they're pretty fuckin secular and quite big on hedonism. Religion isn't a big deal to mostand even the Orthodox ones will likely just spit and hiss at you. They're just racist overall. You could certainly be arrested for "preaching" atheism in a Muslim country though, but you'd have to really go out of your way and insult their prophet or something to see any violence. So you have a point on a personal level. You choose the gayest country on earth, the international pedophile haven, vs. the biggest religion on planet because some of the countries might arrest you for insulting their beliefs. I'm actually agreeing with you, but pointing out the ridiculousness of it is all.

Also, you think Frank Herbert would choose the Jews? He basically sucks Muslim cock in all his books.

Your aloofness to the issues shows that you disrespect yourself and everyone else’s right to exist freely.

If you think getting rid of some group or authority will make you free, I think you're badly mistaken. Most of the repression you face in life comes quite literally from our neighbors, friends, and family.

freedom is a concept you and I strive for, not something we ever had or are likely to ever have. Well, unless you're out in the woods or desert with absolutely nobody else around. Then I suppose for a few days you might actually be free.
