I usually make a little bit but I'm not the type to hold for half a month and get dunked on. I usually leave around 50% at most, which is commonly found in most active meme and shitcoins.

i made it with shitcoins. started crypto in february 2021 with mid 4 figs and i'm sitting at mid 6 figs right now. fumbled a million+ dollar bag two times, sold a week too early. the one that hurt the most is the one i had conviction in. but i wasn't ready to make a million back then, i was a retard. deployer & team of the token i was holding a large chunk of the supply of outplayed me and make me panic sell and then they giga pumped it to $100M, unironically.
90%+ of my profits were made with on chain tokens. i tried leverage trading too while on chain was dead(second half of 2022). overall i ended up break even or slight profit, but it was a huge time sink. still, learned a lot from that venture as well.
i'm a neet and spend 14hrs+ daily on crypto. there is hope, OP. the amount of time you spend actively being involved in crypto(twitter, telegram & discord communities, on chain research, interact with dApps & tools. talk to people) is directly proportional to your gains.
be resilient and ALWAYS focus on surviving. it's the single most important thing if you want to make it.
