you must be new. every cycle the entire market no matter what the coin is gets the same multiplier as btc. on top of that alt coins get an extra multiplier and how that is determined is by 2 things, 1) how close they are to btc rank when the cycle begins and 2) how much hype they have behind them. If they are close to btc in rank when the cycle begins they get a lower multiplier, coins like XRP/Monero/ETH/Link will get the original btc multiplier + an extra 3-5x. Coins out of the top 50 get an extra 10x. Coins out of the top 100 get an extra 20x. The more hype the higher the multiplier for any given coin. LINK already had its out of the top 100 multiplier run. If you want a mere 5-10x then sure pick link. If you want to get rich pick something else.
