TA is mathematically applied human psychology: works best when there's enough human beings involved, and more data is available. It still shocks me when I predict prices more or less to the dollar, especially on BTC; though you could argue BTC is more pure in terms of data as there is less interference in price discovery, etc.

When you realize everything is priced-in, it naturally takes you to the conclusion that this sort of statistical data leads you to God: much in the same way you see patterns in nature, ie. 4 seasons, as according to the patterns of the Earth's orbit around the Sun.

But yeah, matching up lines is child's play; looking at momentum is a more complicated, but just as simple when you are used to it.
