Sorry not sorry for your losses but best of luck in the future

What's funny about all you silver scam victims is you are trapped. You lost 80% already and over 400% compared to the stock market

If silver went up to $120 <it wont> you could sell and break even

If silver went to $670 <ROFL> you would be even with boomers who invested in the DJIA. <lmao>

But you won't sell because it's your whole life you will be a broke loser unless silver went to $100,000 and you could buy a virgin for 10 cents. Lmao that's what you were promised and what you believe.

So you are trapped. You are stuck with a lifetime of pain because you invested all your real $$$$ in a scam. You can't sell because that would be admitting you got scammed and you h8 me too much for telling you the truth and warning you. Emotionally and financially trapped its your whole life....your identity.

Lmao how did you get to this place? greed. You listened to a scammer and got greedy and wanted to get rich <and a gf> with no effort.

What i find surprising and is NEVER discussed in the silber community is this :
How come depending on a nation's wealth, commodities' prices will adapt to local wages, but for silver?

Silver seems to be the only commodity on the planet which is MORE expensive in 3rd world shitholes than in developped nations.
If you buy some bread, rice, eggs, wood, iron,.. whatever in India or in Cambodia, it will always be cheaper than in the US or Europe. And that's normal, otherwise the locals could never afford it. Over the decades this gap tend to diminish, as our developped nations' currencies are being devalued to oblivion, and as globalisation of trades tend to harmonize prices. But it's still quite a huge gap. Your average restaurant bill in Somalia or Bengladesh will usually be around 80c-$1. But it will be $25-30 in the US.

Now with silver, the opposite is true : the more of a shithole you are, the more expensive it gets, even though you already earn x100 less in USD equivalent! Meaning in worked hours ( the only real wage measurement), whereas in the US you get paid around 1oz/hour, in let say Cambodia, your premium is around +60%, but you also only earn $1.40/h. So you need to work for 26 hours for your 1oz ($37) of silver. This is the reality we live in : in the vast majority of the world, silver isn't 23 bux. Silver is $600.

We could think "well if they aren't producers, then they have to import at globally settled rates". Good point, but when you look at it, even in the biggest producing nations, their silver is still MORE expensive than over here. Mexico is the perfect example, their silver is sold even locally at a huge premium, even though they are by far the biggest producers.
But it is also true for Peru, Chile, Bolivia, China... all the largest miners.

>> No.56435437

>>56435392
totally going to make it.
when the world goes back to using gold for all trade, an ounce of gold will be worth ten million dollars. You'll be super rich. Other people will be working 40 hours a week for a single gold molecule. We'll have special coins that contain one molecule of gold. People will be killing each other for the 0.2 milligrams of gold in their bodies.

>>56435424
2/2
Then i tried to think more about it, and thought that maybe it was because those are foreign corporations (often US owned) exploiting the resources, and the silver ore never get the chance to trickle down locally and get immediately exported. But then it doesn't explain it for China, where all mining companies are forbidden to be foreign owned, and where their demand already vastly outpace their output. Or what happened with semi-nationalizations in Argentina and Chile when far-left government got voted in. Silver is still more expensive there than in western Europe, who don't produce a single ounce of the stuff.

At least with gold, the price is the same everywhere, and it's grosso-modo also true for the premiums. Which already vastly advantage all the nations with a strong currency, since their slurping capacity is x20-40 those of poor nations. But only with silver you get the double quickdown of massive premiums (ranging from +50/+100%) in shitholes + no discounts compared to local purchasing power.
This is quite a redpill : for most of the world, silver is already $500+/oz. Only in the US and EU we get an incredibly retarded low price. But how long can this distortion last? And moreover, this pricetag prevent most of the world from stacking, meaning we can vampirize it all just for ourselves via our strong currencies (which i believe is the plan of the banksters), but how will it plays out after a financial reset?

Me think i'm pretty comfy having to work only 1 or 2h for an ounce, whereas the rest of the world have to work for almost a week for the same. And i don't plan to not profit from this literal life cheat code.

and the people of their countries aren't getting a cut of that gold either.

in fact the resources of the land are NOT the property of the people, and to pretend people are going to be enriched personally and broadly by gold mining going on 100 miles away from them is silly. Idk if you have seen it, but basically the US is among the tiniest importer of silver ore (like Belize tier, it amounted to almost nothing), while China, Korea and Japan are the largest importers by far. i.e all the nations producing semi-conductors for the world. And it's i believe for several reasons :
- they have the capacity to refine it themselves, so they cut on costs
- they don't need it in bar form since it wil be melted down into wires plating for the most part
- they don't want to be at the mercy of US banks : by shortcuting the global price-fixing by the Comex & LBMA, they avoid being subject to the manipulation of giga-banksters like JPM who can solely decide of the price of refined silver bars. If one day JPM decide to push comex bars to 3 digits, China will be able to go around it via ore. That's just my theory but i believe it have strong arguments.

So to come back to ore vs bars, when it came to refined silver, US mogged every other nation on earth, to a truly stupid ratio. I don't precisely remember the numbers, but like the US + Canada slurped alone over HALF all the .999 silver bars produced in the world. And i don't think it all comes down to individuals' bullion demand. You represent like what, 5% of the world pop? Me think something is up, me think large institutions are secretly stacking like madslurpers.

>> No.56435834

I don't think any producers start their process with refined silver bars from the comex. That's just a /pmg/ WSS myth.

investment grade bars are a different thing from industrial silver. Industrial uses purify and alloy their own silver, usually from something called concentrates, or dore.

That’s right, and the states are enshrining PMs into their constitution and their treasuries. It sounds woo woo, but it’s merely fact, Americans slurp the fuck out of silver, we have the least penalties to do so of almost any other country, and our institutions including the state and banks slurp silver too, and you see them saying fuck gold (a la Canada, ft Knox) you can have it. It’s silver. Because silver has more backing than gold because it’s use as a commodity of the future, and it will empower any currency it backs beyond golds capacity to do so.

yes. In most industrial processes, pure silver is less efficient to use than impure stuff.
>straight up dirt with an average of 0.08% silver where they have contracts with large open pit miners. That's what the chinks are importing by boatloads.
seems extremely inefficient given the cost of boat fuel, but whatever. Chinks also import e-scrap by the boatload and that has a tiny percentage of useful metals.

they are very certainly refining their own silver for industrial use, but that's normal. Industrial users like to either vertically integrate by buying the mine, or at least do their own refining in most cases.

another factor in the economy of refining is enviro law.

for instance, cyanide process is dirt cheap, but pretty difficult to get permits for in the US. However in china you don't need permits of the sort the US regularly denies. You just need government permission.

so in that case, there's probably money to be made in shipping silver ore to china because the cyanide process is cheap enough to offset the costs of shipping.

labor is a similar situation. Why pay a miner $100k per year to refine silver when a chink will do it for $3k per year? The savings offset the shipping costs.

Yes that's what i was explaining, they do not need it refined for their industrial uses. And on top of that, after turning this ore into concentrate, they will also bank in some copper, lead and antimony in the process (which idk if also priced in by the miners during purchase).

But i too find it extremely inefficient logistically wise, that's why i was a bit surprised when i came across the figures.. so i'm trying to figure out one or several logical explanations to justify such "innefficience", because chinks are reputed to not waste their $ when it comes to business. Any other hypothesis warmly welcome too!

So far we are pretty happy closing our eyes on those. But yeah, maybe it will change in the future, sadly it will certainly not be from the perspective of saving le mom earth Gaya if our "leaders" start this kind of boycott. But to continue the slow transition of the US/EU citizens into 3rd world poorfags.
Just like it was the conclusion during the Rio meeting of '92 where they set up their goals for Agenda 2030 :
>a global government body is impossible with such large wealth disparities among the middle class of differents countries : the wealthy american mid-class will never accept the standardized rules & regulations destined to the majority of the world. We then need to bring up the standards of living of poor nations while bringing down the standards of the rich ones, in such a fashion they become homogeneous worldwide.

It was pretty much verbatim the conclusion, and ever since, our "leaders" have done everything to follow this order, from our complete deindustrialization, to unregulated immigration, to nonsensical over-regulations in the name of genocidal ideals like "zero carbon", while none of the developping countries have to deal with this crap...

Well, that's the main issue to find those ppl are using all kind of keywords. You have to check up individually for the Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe, NSDAP,... because they all had different stuff, then ppl with name it dishes, porcelain, tableware, flatware, forks, spoons,... so you have to be as vague as possible when you search, and sort through a lot of unrelated crap.
But don't expect them to show up instantly, personally i check up once a week for nazi cutlery and it's the first time i managed to scoop some for cheap, after looking for like 2 months. Plates/gravy boats/.. and porcelain in general are usually a bit easier to find from my experience.

If you don't have the patience, you have various militaria specialized websites from little shops who sell those. Sadly they most of the time are OOT, and prices kinda are all over the place, but some i've seen have really decent deals.

before I even opened my mouth I searched the internets for those coins and dates.
I saw the 1776 8R being sold on multiple sites

I didn't find other dates on any site, including alibaba.

I've been hunting fake coins for years, I know how to search them online. And I agree, there's a lot of them out there. Nothing about the anon's ashtray coins strike me as being fake. If they're fakes, they're not for sale on the internets that I can find, and they're remarkably good fakes to just be ruined by making them into an ashtray and selling them below spot.

nice work gathering all those pics though. E for effort.

Kek, i thought i was the only one going on alibaba to check for the common dates of each fake. Based fren.
It's true chinks are pretty lazy, it's very often one date, one mint per coin they repro you then see sold on many alibaba shops. Well.. to their defense, they don't claim to sell anything but "fun" copies, it's not like they try to autistically forge things and pass it as the real deal. Most their fakes looks like crap. It's the same for MTG/pokemon cards, if they really wanted to, they probably could achieve much more convincing stuff, but then, why would they bother selling them as copy? To me it means they simply don't want to, scamming isn't their business, they leave that to less scrupulous westerners buying their stuff.
And it's also pretty smart thinking, if they achieved impossible to differentiate pokemon cards, then the market for high-end singles would collapse, which is counterproductive to them.

Since you seems to enjoy historic stuff, i thought you could be interested with an auction i've been eyeing for few days :
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/325847544892

It's a tiny silver egoist jug from 1775-1780 (can't confirm 100% since i don't see the mark of discharge on the pics, but the mark of charge give me a good idea alrdy), from Tours (very old city of kings) weighting 632g (.958 fineness).

The condition is far from top notch, even have some tears and bonks, and from the silver weight you have to substract the wood handle (minus 40-50g? too bad the seller didn't remove it for the weighting). But even then, if the price remain at 380, and lets assume the handle is 50g, that's 380/580 = 0.65€/g when spot is at 0.70€ rn.

Really not bad for a 250, beautifully ouvraged item. The forks/spoons from this period aren't too are to find (i know, i now have around 100+ of them kek), but this kind of items are very, very scarce, actually that's maybe the 3rd one i see on ebay from this era, and i check daily, and the first one below 1K+.

I wanted to slurp it for myself, but i'm way too tight on cash rn, not even sure how i'll finish the month kek, so if a fren can profit from the deal i wont be too upset.

I posted this s couple days ago but: Premiums on silver in Mexico are certainly higher from private dealers, but libertads sold at the banks vary by bank and at different times. I haven't been watching it much, but so far this year, there appears to be an almost inverse correlation to the premiums charged by Mexican banks on libertads vs the premiums from US dealers. You could get libertads for about 4-5% at a bank back in March or April while US buyers were paying 10%+ everywhere for coins and rounds and probably more like 25%+ on BU libertads. Depending on the specific bank and how you pay, at this moment, libertads are going to run about 13-20% premium. A coin shop or private seller on Mexico is gonna be more like 15-30%... so you're absolutely right, at least for Mexico which is like the biggest silver producer on the planet. Shit makes no sense lol.

Also, the anon who mentioned the 5oz libertads 2-3xing in a year or so from mint because of limited production was correct. I have had no luck asking a Mexican citizen to stop at some big branches and try to buy one. I assume the bank and mint people make sure only their friends can get them.

copper oxidizes easily and also isn't worth much atm so it's not profitable to refine it for bullion purposes. Well, technically, only western countries that want to trade with a brics member. There's no reason a country can't trade with another country in some other currency. Many are doing that RN, but it's causing massive issues where Russia is stuck with billions of Indian PooBucks and will hurt India if they try to dump them, or Chinas too exposed debt wise and nobody trusts their gold reserve numbers, etc... A new intra-bank/internation currency backed by gold and other assets solves this issue (brics), but some countries may be fine never trading with it. It just depends. The US can easily produce it's own energy and food, but some raw materials needed for technology and infrastructure are either required to be imported, or vastly more expensive and environmentally detrimental to acquire domestically.
It's gonna be an international game of musical chairs and passing the debt around for a while til anything firms up. Hopefully they don't use too much war as cover, but who knows what will happen exactly? Maybe an asteroid hits or Jesus shows up or space lizards invade or vaccines activate latent zombie viruses? Nothing would surprise anymore lol.

Silver is a global market, unlike the flour from a few villages over which just sells locally. Silver (anything imported, really) price goes up as you leave developed countries because of logistics. In places with silver mines it's probably pretty common for the plebs to have some, or at least that's what's happening in Venezuela where they pay with gold from the mines.

He makes a good point though, especially with regard to Mexico which produces fuckloads of silver. You can't just hit a lcs in Mexico and buy a round for a couple bucks over spot. You might get around 15% if you buy a decent amount and pay with USD, but generally it's a fucked up premium heavy market. Most poor countries and many developed euro countries make purchasing silver difficult either through heavy taxation or general price fixing on premiums. After removing PMs from circulation as currency 60+ years ago everywhere, many nations now make it extremely costly for its citizens to acquire PMs and in particular silver. It's more than peculiar.

Ya I agree with that, but it is fucky that you have to pay a 25% tax on your own country's "coin" because it's silver in Britain or similar. It's obvious that many countries don't want the citizenry to have jars full of silver at home anymore lol.

And Mexican domestic retail silver market aside, when I think about the guy going around the big branches of Mexican banks for me rn trying to find a 5oz libertad, I'm willing to bet that the premiums on libertads across the world are simply because of garden variety price fixing by groups of middlemen who kick back to the mint employees. It is Mexico after all lol. Good on them for creating demand I guess. I still don't know why he was able to get me libertads in the spring for like a $1 over spot from the bank though... maybe they fucked up or thought he was "connected" to the right people or something? So weird.

For anyone interested, I just confirmed that the tiny bit over spot I paid for libertads earlier this year was the actual price (in USD) at that time. I think the exchange rate played a bigger part in it than anything. It's just under 13% premium for 1oz libertads if you pay with USD at one Mexican Bank RN. Im guessing that's because of the weaker dollar. Man I wish there was a reliable postal service in that country...I could made some decent money earlier this year lol.

They know that silver can be used as money (which it is) and they're afraid that the population will do so, which will cause those in power to lose control. They're already used to using other currencies like USD instead of their local currencies (which often have inflationary problems). But silver is the real killer, because once the population normalises it, it's game over for the banksters.

Interesting. I wouldn't pay a big premium on them myself RN, especially for chucks. Mine are all queens. Ya I mean, that's the most logical conclusion you can draw from it. Also I hear that it's a bit weird buying libertads at the bank in Mexico, despite some having the prices on the wall and even a few advertising banners hanging. It doesn't appear to be a common request...I was told you get funny looks and the manager comes out to do the transaction, then someone walks you out to your car lol. I'm guessing there's only a handful of people buying them on a regular basis and the banks recognize those people. I'm probably gonna get my buddy put on some list today asking for 5ozers everywhere lol.

Bob is a retired coin collector that posts on /pmg/. Sometimes he comes across as mildly disruptive, but I don't think that's just intent really. He doesn't stack PMs but likes talking to people who do. Decades ago he purchased a plot of land very cheaply because it had surface level lead contamination. Bob decided to make a home on that land and at some point the EPA declared it a Superfund site. Bob can have the toxic contamination removed for free by the government at any time, but has so far not elected to do so. You'll know Bob because he he will make sure to post about the value of his land relative to his purchase price, in every thread he's in, regardless if it's germaine to the conversation. Bob seldom mentions that the massive unrealized gains he boasts about from his property are predicated on the EPA remediating the contamination, but Bob seems to like living amongst the lead.

My theory is that beyond a level of brain damage from a life of lead exposure, the lead on Bob's property has kind of moved into a firm of possession; maybe a symbiotic relationship in a way where Bob allows the lead to stay and the lead provides Bob with some emotional elation or something. That's a crazy idea, but it would explain why Bob doesn't stack PMs yet likes posting in the generals, sometimes arguing that there's no point in stacking because things will likely just work out lol. I think that's the lead talking. I think the lead is jealous of PMs and it drives Bob to post here regularly. If lead can have sentience, it's probably communicating through Bob.
