Me calling out the scam BOTS and their victims is my way of showing them love. Going along with peoples fantasies like they’re real causes schizophrenia. I’ve seen people in my life go from sane to batshit crazy when they start pretending something is real that isn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if these freaks now actually think paying YUGE premiums to their enemies is smart. They don’t need more silver they need serious mental help and intense honesty. You can’t go along with their lies or it will break their minds.
Silver is not an investment
Paying premiums on a commodity is Le Big Dumb
The $$$$ is king
A worthless rock won't buy you a virgin
You lost 80% on the silver scam

I personally concentrate on buying and selling online. It costs about 0.5% premium for shipping, but it's just so easy, pick the cheapest 1oz coin from the list of 300 coin shops with shipping and order it. That means my coins are all over the place, i have every major investment coin, but i'm not buying them for the pictures pressed into them, just the gold.
I just try to limit myself to 999.9 gold (bought one Kruger to have a coin to fondle).
To me the 0.5% extra is worth it. Never had a problem with shipping either.
As for Bitcoin, i personally would make sure to convert some into cash so you have poweder to shoot when the prices fall. Recently we had a nice 2 week dip many of us used for shopping, right now we are almost at all time high so most of us wait.

For me it's the coin craft, that is, producing coins that have seemingly impossible features.
The Maple Leafs background radial pattern. The Britannia background waves, this shit pretty much means the coin is a high end production. It's not as easy to pull off as you might think.

>>56427682
That's not true. I don't think a MadMax future to be likely. I stack gold to sell it coin by coin in 15 or so years when i retire. Want to buy a boat? Sell a bunch of coins and do it. History tells me it's very likely that my gold can be sold for far more than what i bought it for.
Recently saw a Youtube where the guy put S&P and gold over another, Gold slightly outperformed in 1 and 5 years i think. Obviously it's different for other time frames, but i don't have to outperform the S&P. I only have to outperform inflation and that is pretty much a given.

As to why 50fr Hercule?

1) Probably the largest junk coin ever mass produced.
30 grams at 90% silver, making for 0.868 ounces silver content.

2) Was minted in the 70's and quickly left circulation due to the silver bull run. most are in pristine condition with almost no wear.

3) Recent enough to be recognized by the older but not extremely old part of the population.

4) in high demand from Africans who either use it in africa as barter or use it to melt down to make silverware from. If the latter is true, this junk is rapidly declining in stock and could see high premiums in the future.

I lied. it's not all good.
That ogling was 35€ (only because I picked the short, evening special). If I would go there for a full afternoon, it's over 40€. If I'd go there with the wife, that's over 80€ alone, and then you need to eat something and get a babysitter for the kids and we're easily looking at almost 200€ for a nice afternoon. Damn, that's quite a few ounces of silver.
And I'm currently looking for a house here, and there's just no way to buy anything without going into massive debt and paying back insane amounts every months so that something like
>spending 200€ for a nice weekend
is just not possible for the next twenty years.
And it's not just not being able to afford small luxuries (though I have a feeling that normies just do it anyways, piling up even more debt), this of course also leaves no (financial) room for stacking, or virtually any other form of equity building or preparation for old age!
(Sure, I'll have a house in 20 years, but
a) who know what this will be worth then?
and b) Even if it's worth a lot, I can't do shit with that money, because in order to use this money, I'd need to sell the house to finance my life in old age, and so I'm back to square one.

And renting doesn't really help either. If I want a place that's big enough for two kids, I'm also looking at rent that eats up so much money that 200€ left over at the end of the month will be a are occurence. And I'm not even talking about anything that would be considered large or luxurious. Those (e.g. something with a garden for the kids) is strictly in the unaffordable territory.
Guess if my wife had a well paying job it could work, but then we'd need to put the kids into daycare 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and while I'm no >muh traditional values homeschooling autist (I actually believe that early interaction with other kids is good for kids!), I don't need kids if I only have them for the weekend!
But OK, let's assume we'd put them to daycare anyways, but guess what: It's almost impossible to get a place, because they can't find people working that job.
Guess what again: No one wants to do that job, because the pay's shit and you can't afford life with that job.

The problem is the various ratios of Dow:Gold, Historical Silver:Gold. Mining Silver:Gold, and the present day GSR.
All asset prices move for various reasons reflecting fundamental reality of the world. Capturing these price movements can be some of the best ways to make large sums of money. If you like gold, then the best way to get the most gold is actually timing the silver trade.
Twice in our history, Dow was 1:1 with Gold. This will likely happen again. And the output and consumption of silver means that it is extremely undervalued relative to gold.
Even though I think gold will do quite well, $2000 invested in silver (as opposed to 1ounce of gold) could give you enough silver whose relative value compared to gold can shift allowing you to potentially sell that same silver for 3-5 ounces of gold (or possibly more).

People need to understand that just because you buy silver by weight does not mean that you will be spending it that way. The world will be looking for safe haven assets when dollars begin to lose purchasing power. Every single transaction you make will convey a major premium to whoever has the metal to spend. The more transactions you are able to make the more premium you will be able to capture.

I like having 1 oz coins (or maybe smaller) because then I can just use them directly to buy stuff, like say an old computer system. That transaction remains out of the system, it's only between me and the computer seller. There are no records, taxes, nothing.
With big silver mass, it gets more messy, you have to cut up a bar or gold coin into pieces. But the silver coins are already the right size and self-contained standardized units. They're the perfect form of money.
I bought some kilos and even bigger silver, but probably should have just stayed entirely with 1 oz and junk. It's overall more useful this way.
As for gold, well it's just not that practical unless you're buying huge stuff like a car, land, or house, but those big things are already tracked very closely by the government regardless of how you pay for them. So gold, yeah it's nice to store wealth, but ultimately not as practical for using as money in most cases (because nobody spends that much very often). And this is why probably they'd prefer you to buy gold rather than silver.

This is exactly correct. The very reason that PMs will hit the mainstream will be because purchasing power will decrease. That could be due to inflation or international trade breaks down and the U.S. no longer imports a massive $700BN in goods and services. People will have dollars but not enough things to buy. And what you can buy will start to get slurped and higher prices will be what forces people to ration.
People with valuable material outside of the banking system will be fine, and you will actually be sitting on an inventory of goods people will WANT to buy. And none of that value is dependent on a counterparty. You have no exposure to leverage and banks or require a corporation to stay afloat during these troubled times.
It truly is the foundation you need to build on. The decades of trusting the leveraged ponzi system are long in the past and the next decade will be 140 IQ PhDs desperately trying to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic before it sinks. And there is literally nothing they can do to hide the losses. They will attempt some sort of rationing system or transfer of payments to keep people afloat and happy as the dollar-dilution is used to extract even more and more value from the masses. The world is saturated with dollars and they serve no other purpose than to facilitate the ponzi system that has been set up. The world is preparing alternatives to the dollar and that is a PROFOUND reality Americans need to be contemplating.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by collecting more premiums per transaction, but looking at currency collapse situations in other countries shows us what we can expect if the USD tanks. People will simply barter more. Those without goods or skills to directly trade may find their salaries no longer support them, and will have to rely on aid. Many might be forced to relocate to areas where aid is more available. People in areas where food is produced who choose to stay will barter for the food they don't have, rather than rely on aid. It's unlikely that pms will replace USD altogether in that scenario. It will be like elsewhere when that stuff happens: people trade things, with many items becoming accepted trading mediums with agreed upon values. I could see ammo becoming one of the first local currencies in a lot of areas of the US, but chickens, eggs, feed etc...will all be used again, like for all of humanity. PMs are great in this aspect because they will be worth something against stable foreign currencies and that information can be verified, even without internet. They will be worth something when a USD replacement arises, but not everyone has much pm laying around, so they might be more of post collapse richer man's medium of exchange and, if things get bad enough, can be used to flee and set up elsewhere. Anyway, this stuff isn't going to happen overnight, but I agree 100% on their utility for living outside of a bad economic situation, I just think it will be more fluid and varying by region than the march dimes whores meme.

Also, you don't want to spend your silver first if you can avoid it in that situation. 1 because it will likely keep increasing in value as it conglomerates into the hands of producers/those with stocks of other necessary goods/better traders, making the scarcity increase, and 2 because offering up oz's of silver too often might make you a target when word of that spreads.

Gold cannot be used for daily transactions and is less useful in this situation. Thus the person with silver would be able to take advantage of the person with even fractional gold. If they want to trade and do so without losses. They will need silver, and fractional silver will be more useful than whole oz and bars and so on in this scenario.

Maybe. Gold dust and flakes have certainly been (and are being) used for daily transactions, but that's only in mining areas where gold is more common, and a few specific parts of the world where gold is widely purchased/held. I'm a big believer in fractional silver for just such a scenario, but I don't have any plans on jewing people on a gsr exchange rate in the future myself, and can only speculate on their future values, but you may be right. Maybe after the dust settles, any gold you acquired by charging a sort of exchange rate premium for "fractional' silver might pay off handsomely? Who knows?

Idk fren. That's a lot of speculation really, but like I said, I'd avoid whipping out tubes of fractional or constitutional for as long as you can avoid it and things settle down, but theyre a great option to have for a bartering medium for sure! Just think about how many folks are gonna run out and sell their grandmas wedding ring or their gold rosary or whatever for cash when things start going south...you want to avoid losing any of your PMs for as long as you can and ride out whatever market gluts arise. The truck/boat/RV market in 2008-09 is a good example of that. You couldn't give those things away lol. If PMs start becoming a local trade medium and it's possible to keep acquiring more that way, then go for it, but I think a chicken coop and a few 50cal cans full of 5.56 may be a better option initially.

For you guys interested in the Hercule, you can buy the 10Fr piece here for an amazing 16,85 EUR.
https://www.acheter-or-argent.fr/france-10-francs-hercule.html

The site is pretty legit, have done business with them.
In fact, I just ordered 400 10 Francs, 257 5 Francs Louis Phillippe (now sold out) and 7 kilos of StoneX.
I already received 355 5 Francs last week from them.

I don't want to order more and they still have some, some boomer with thousands of them must have sold to them because it seems they are just hellbent on getting them shipped asap, not really adjusting prices with the international market fluctuations.

Some info:
The 10 franc piece came before the 50 Franc piece and is slightly more circulated. It is the ECU standard. 25 grams, .900. Was the brainchild from then President de Gaulle with his then Minister of Finance (later president) Giscard d'Estaing, trying to give some true value to French currency after it's 100 fold revaluation from 1 old (ancien) franc to 1 new (nouveau) cent.

So if you think about it the old 5 Franc coin of 22.5 grams silver that circulated from 1797 till about WWI, saw an equivalent of 1000 old Francs slapped on it's face just a good 50 years later. Nice 200 fold devaluation.

I drunk ordered this pic related, a 400% premium. Got drunk on Friday and thought to myself "this is Future Anons problem" and ordered a second. I'm more concerned about environmental disasters/attacks where domestic crops and livestock are ruined and our food supply fucked, rather than a currency collapse. Stacking pms and such is great, as long as there's food to obtain lol. The US keeps fuck all for strategic food reserves these days and blight and chronic wasting disease is already getting worse in my area. I could see similar issues affecting grains and cattle, wether they're naturally occuring or some sorta weapon. My country's foreign policy has not created many positive relationships on the planet and I doubt our enemies would bother with a ground invasion when there are so many other manmade horrors they could use now lol.

Shouldn't there be some amount of stuff you can take with you, tax free? I think you can for example bring quite a bit of alcohol with you into sweden (not that that would make sense, coming from norway, but obviously this does get done regularly from germany or the baltics. Hell, there's even a whole shipping industry built on it!), so check your states customs regulations if there's also some amount of metals you can take with you, or if you can even use the face value loophole.

then you seriously fucked up.

if you want to make money off silver you use leveraged trades on spot price derivatives.

and you run it as a business- essentially tax free until you make money.

or you invest money into paper silver trusts without paying taxes on it as part of your retirement.

you aren't "making" money if you're not using the tax benefits of a business or of your retirement account. You're just throwing it away. Handing it to the tax man for no reason when you didn't have to.

I’ve figure it out… you are a fucking GENIUS!!! What a great way to get people to realize the value of precious metals and start their own stacks. Act like a complete and utter retard when fudding silver as like a weird sort of reverse psychology! It’s genius! People see your retarded rambling, the clearly bogus, almost unhinged FUD, your 60 pbtid shit (which you swap IP to appear like it’s more than one person, also genius!) , and they decide to do their own research and see that silver and gold is actually a great investment, a great safe haven to park capital in times of uncertainty, and a great hedge against inflation! Of course you just say the opposite of all of that so people look it up, and see the facts for themselves! It’s genius! Wow, I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner! Good work my man!

Think about the divisibility wash out, someone is going to have an ounce. I’ll have 32 grams. Well the 1 oz is a sovereign with security features. but the divisibility is going to help me expand my purchasing power by allowing me to make more transactions with the same amount of silver. Because giving change on a transaction is going to be seen as a loss by the receiver of the ounce. It’s a mess really. 1 more koala kilo coin, 3 more African wildlife kilo coins (from Somalia)
2 Lunar kilo coins, year of the wolf and year of the rooster.

Some 5 ounce coins or thereabout from Bolivia with Simon Bolivar and also Coronation of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles commemorative editions.
1500 maple leafs 2019, 25 maple leafs 2012
A chest with mainly 1 and 2 franc semeuses from the 1910's, 1920's also some italian and swiss coins (often 5 swiss franc berger type)
747 50 Franc Hercule pile
About 150 100 Franc commemorative editions pile
7 kilo bars (probably officially a coin) Cook Island, 1 kilo bar from Belgium
Massive pile of around 3800 5 franc Semeuse coins.
Tiny pile of 10 Maria Theresia Thalers
Small pile under it of jetons des états de bretagne (1700's)
Big pile of about 500 5 Francs ECU or italian/Belgian equivalent. Ranging from 1831 till 1878.
Medium pile of about 200? 10 francs Hercule
5 coins from Belgium
Couple of 1 ounce coins or 1.5 ounce coins from various places with a kennedy half dollar in there.

>eBay
I'm pondering the future and trying to plot out how i might sell some PMs if the time/price is ever right.
I don't have a LCS conveniently near me so I was considering I might try to sell on Ebay.

One of my main concerns is how much profit do I stand to lose from Ebay fees.
wondering if it's feasible to roll an extra "premium" into the sale price to cover the expected fees. Of course, that would potentially make my sell prices higher than a seller who is selling in bulk perhaps.

That and I've never sold on eBay before so I won't have any approval ratings to help me. I've bought plenty of stuff on eBay over the years so I've got 100% good feedback as a buyer, but no history or feedback as a seller.

either that or have to drive 4 hours to get to the nearest LCS

The EU started sneaking bugs into food this year. You'll see them in some biscuits, pasta, pizza, bread, and such. Look at the labels for "acheta domestica" (crickets). It's possible they might try to avoid adding them to labels altogether too. After all they do want everyone (but them) eating the bugs.
