i have this strategy where i buy something at a certain price, and later, when the price is higher, i sell it. the difference in price is then my profit. anyway, i was wondering if you could tell me if tech stocks will increase in price. because if they don't, the strategy won't work

I am still new, so want to make sure I don't pick something where I'd risk owing money. I want to only be able to buy and sell with the funds in my accounts.

It looks like they offer a few different risk levels.
Covered, Long, Spreads, Unlimited Risk

Which one should I choose for my level? I want to make sure I don't limit features, but again my main concern is just I don't want to be able to loan money. Only trade w what I have, if my account goes to 0, I have to add more in.
Also I know Papertrading is good for learning. I plan to start w that to learn, but just want the account kinda set.
