I can't say if this is a scam chart or not, but this is definitely what it looks like when whales liquidate. Since the whales (in certain cases of cornered markets) know that they are driving the price action, they can be assured that it will be their own selling at the top which drives the price back down. Then they sell high and get more money on the exit than they would have at the unmanipulated market price. I am pretty sure this is an **extremulously** well-known mechanism.
