neither man they all suck and are expensive if you don't have to live there whats the point.

I’m starting to think LA is the move. Anything you can do in NYC you can do in LA but with better weather, better nature, better looking people, and a more laid back vibe.

I went in VR roaming around LA in Google earth and was stunned by how white Santa Monica is.

As a Californian, my bias will say California. This state does have shitty politics but the amount of stuff you can do here is insane, you’ve got the beach cities like laguna, Newport etc. and mountain areas like big bear and arrowhead, plus a mini wine country in Temecula which is all all within a 100 mile radius. That’s not even including Tahoe mammoth (up north) or San Diego (down south). Plus you have entertainment such as dinseyland, universal studios, knotts berry farm, six flags. Albeit Florida does have cooler theme parks. But the weather here is phenomenal year round. You don’t have to worry about hurricanes or heavy snow. But if you want that snow itch you can always go to the mountains during the winter. But I’m more of a SoCal local and grew up here my entire life. With that being said, I believe California is the best of the three options, but if those don’t tickle your fancy, then I would suggest Montana. That’s my end game and where I want to retire

What part of LA should I move to bro? This would be after I make it so I wouldn’t be working beyond my hobbies. Somewhere reasonably safe but close to the beach would be sick.

I’m assuming you can afford it? For one don’t live in LA, just live close enough to wear to can make the drive and enjoy it. Beside that’s I would recommend the following: Costa Mesa, Newport, Huntingon Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Carlsbad, Upland, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Temecula, or Claremont, maybe Monrovia or San Dimas too. But I would recommend this cus they typically are at a center point and can get you to different parts within an hour with the exception of Temecula

As a born and raised Angeleno, NYC is more /biz/ in the sense that your job title carries more weight/prestige there than in LA. In LA, it’s more about how hot you are or how many followers you have or whatever. It is funny when New Yorker grinders who are used to being fluffed because they work at Goldman come to LA and have to wait in line and watch some retarded Zoomer influencer gets the red carpet treatment. It is what it is.

Miami is not even part of the conversation tbqh.

Around LA
Palos Verdes, Pacific Palisades, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Manhattan Beach, even parts of Santa monica
You can branch out even farther to places like Santa Barbera or the beach towns closer to San Diega. Up towards Monterey are some really nice rich beach communities but that's not LA

Nice. What’s the safest place that is somewhat close to like Staples Center and other LA stuff? Aside from the insanely rich zones within LA proper. Like ideally I want to find a place to raise a family with good schools but have access to beaches and going to see live music and NBA and stuff.

Also has So Cal changed a lot demographically in your lives for those anons who have grown up there? Is the vibe different now than say 2000s? Or is it mostly happening in like south central LA or other spots and if you’re in Santa Monica you’re not exposed to it?

NYC. I’m of Northern European descent and need cold weather. Can’t do year round heat. If I could live in upscale neighborhood away from the niggers and Latinos I’ll be happy. LA would be kind of cool though. Would prefer Chicago to NYC if it were a choice.

If you like latinas and real culture, Miami. It's not even a question. Plus you're living in Florida which overall has much better laws. If you pick NYC you're going to end up in Florida after about a decade ANYWAY so might as well become established there now.
