Been long since I posted or even lurked here, anybody remember the 17-18 bullrun vibe? Kinda feels like it again. Wondering how many of of my boys made it.

I did good back then and it lasted me for quite a while, and could have been longer if not for that fucking scamdemic. Anyway, whos up for project?

I have hopes for this ALGO next run, but idk when the spirits for another run will happen. Everyone is kinda checked out atm excluding the AI shit and those returns have been nothing compared to anything 2018-2021. It's a debt based economy, the term debt here isn't the same as something like credit debt or personal debt. The economy as it is can only exist in a deficit, capital democracy's can only exist this economic state. So its just the government spending its own money, and being in debt to itself. If you are wondering why this doesn't make sense its because it doesn't. This is the reason people are going schizo and hoarding precious metals and crypto. money printer go brrr

I'm in crypto since (late) 2013 but had monitored it since 2010 or so
Was always big on Alts. Was one of the top 50 or so Dogecoin holders back in 2014/15 but then sold in 2015 when the community became fake and gay. I think it were over 120 million Doge or so. But it was only like 15-20k bucks or something like that.
Before in 2013 I tried to get in on LTC but btce credited my money too late, so it was already at 10 bucks when I was able to buy and not at like 1.7usd when I send them the money.

Only made it in 2016 when XMR went up and finally had around 220k bucks. Then I got scammed out of maybe 50k bucks and the remainder I split among several Altcoins.

One of it was Stratis which promised to be a decentralized BTC thumbler and for a node allegedly you need 250k Strat. I bought for 10 cents and then it boomed to a peak of 23 dollars or so. When I was able to sell it was maybe at 10 dollars, which was still a tremendous profit.
Also had many other Alts but I don't want to write down everything.
My portfolio peak in 2017/18 was over 12 million USD but when I sold it was only 2.1 million. I had very bad timing but was also psychologically impacted by the markets and had lost objectivity and the position was way to big for me

By that time I was also working for a billionaire VC investor who had hired me me for crypto investing, but that shit went nowhere and was just a waste of my time and attention. (I'm also rather educated, so I could work as VC analyst etc). Should have focused on my portfolio instead.

>> No.56419413

>>56419319
In late 2018 and early 2019, I held all my assets, worth approximately $2.1 million, in cash. I only made minor investments in Bitcoin (BTC) when it was around $3,500 and in Monero (XMR) in 2019. These cryptocurrencies became my primary assets during the 2021 surge.

I closely followed the rise of DeFi, Uniswap, and other blockchain innovations in 2020, but I was skeptical. I perceived them as highly risky due to systemic issues, and the initial explanations of how platforms like Uniswap worked were unclear.

Despite having owned and traded Ethereum (ETH) before, I was hesitant about reinvesting due to my perception of its community, which seemed more aligned with traditional startup or venture capital culture rather than the original spirit of cryptocurrency. This skepticism led to my limited engagement with smart contract platforms and DeFi projects overall.

Between 2020-2022, I also dealt with tax implications from previous crypto transactions, which was stressful and diverted my attention.

During the 2021 bull market, my portfolio primarily consisted of BTC and XMR. I reduced my BTC holdings when it dominated my portfolio excessively. By the market's peak, cryptocurrencies comprised 50-60% of my portfolio, with the rest mostly in precious metals like gold and silver, which I started accumulating in 2019. At its highest, my portfolio was valued at approximately $7.5 million.

Simultaneously, I ventured into startup investments, which proved more time-consuming and stressful than profitable. Currently, these ventures are more of a liability.

Now, my portfolio sits at around $3.5 million. I'm 33 years old, and I've been involved in the crypto space since my early 20s. Interestingly, back in 2013, I felt I was late to the party, but the market has continued to surprise me with is potential.

>> No.56419459

These days I hold silver, gold, XMR, and BTC which make large parts of my portfolio. XMR and silver being the largest parts. Also maybe 5% cash and 15% startups which also give me exposure to some Altcoins.

>Lition.
>Never trust germans.
I'm very familiar with Germans.
There are no good German crypto projects at all.
The reason is that they are all way to regulation focused and want approval and legality of everything. Focussing so much energy on this garbage they lose sight of what is actually needed and important in a hyper competitive market and their legit project goes to shit or ends up in obscurity... even with their gay BaFin approval.
That then leaves only straight scammers to actuality penetrate the market (at least for a short amount of time).

Focussing on regulation and approval might also not the best strategy for literal anti-government tech.
Many have to understood this.

Been here since 2016 and ready for round 3. Didn’t make much round one cause I was a dumbass and still learning. Made life changing money in 2021. Gonna suck a fucking fortune out of the market on this run.

I remember buying Lition on IDEX back in the day- there was some other project competing with it at the time that I also held but can’t remember the name of it now.

Who remembers….

DeepBrainGang - batshit crazy anon from Missouri who posted pictures of his disgusting food everyday saying DeepBrainChain was going to the moon (someone posted a picture of a Mickey Mouse telephone after all…)

Mr. Bear Wolf who really had it out from Ambroseus and would torment them relentlessly say “MFW NEVER EVER EVER will Ambroseus succeed” and someone who worked for them he had a real axe to grind against.

Also I miss that good old anon that would post that shit about “I am never wrong!!!” With his grim reaper picture.

And who could forget that asshole who was always posting about trying to make a shit ton of money to get his legs surgically lengthened because God cursed him with being short.

One last memory—- the guy the posted about losing a bunch of money because he invested in BINGUS.

If anyone has any screenshots from all this classic biz shit please post for me to relive those goods times and for new anons to enjoy.

ALSO- UltraSafe changed my financial future forever so shout out to those con artists. (Also made 10k off blowfish coin).
