>apply for entry level job
>"I'm sorry sir but you have a college degree in buttlicking and this is an asslicking job"
Should I lie about my major? I'm getting kind of tired of there being pointless gatekeeping in 99% of places, the entire point of college is that unless you major in something specific like mechanical engineering so you can make 60k a year starting you're supposed to qualify for basic bitch entry level (usually office) jobs. But every HR roastie tries to gatekeep you endlessly, it's insane.

After careful consideration we have decided that you are not a good fit.

lying about education can backfire, but definitely lie about experience. Find a dead company and say you worked there and follow it up with some consulting/freelancing. Your degree in asslicking but it’s a buttlicking job? Last job was actually buttlicking.

That is what your competition is doing, and you are actively hurting yourself by not lying.

This, anyone that falls for Le Honesty meme has never dealt with shitskins. You can tell them you spent a few years as a hiking counselor, teaching anons how to survive. I'll vouch for you anon. As long as you put that buttlicking degree to work

If you live near a city, go to a startup/VC conference and make friends with a startup owner.

Then you can put that startup in your resume, have the actual owner be a reference, and have the excuse that you got paid in equity whenever it doesn’t show on your employment history.
