How do I cope with the fact that I got scammed?

Looking for similar stories or advice on how to deal with being scammed. I am new to gold and recently inherited a lot of gold jewelry. Earlier today without doing my research I took two big 14k bracelets(which were very banged up and damaged) and went to sell them at a jewelry store. They weighed 71g and they offered me $2350 which I accepted. The way the guy talked made me seem like it was normal to sell below spot price.

Hours later I researched it more and realized I should have gotten spot which is $2556.

Feeling really bummed. Has anyone else ever gotten a bad deal before? I really regret not doing my reaearch beforehand and am feeling very depressed. I plan to keep the rest of the jewelry as it's in great condition. I know I didn't technically "lose" money but it sucks that they scammed me.

i paid 1892.37€ for a 1oz gold krug today when the spot was at 1790ish.
am i being ripped off? 100€ premium seems a little steep to me. especially when they have way lower prices on their online storefront.
i asked the clerk and he said running a local shop obviously costs more money than a website but can they really justify charging that much?
i prefer going in store to buy anonymously. dont really want to order shit online and there arent really any other options for me in the area.

The silver stacker, the hoarder of worthless millenial rocks, is a lowly creature, no more powerful than an amoeba, oppressed by the elite, held down by the man, but despite being powerless, they/them feel the need to resist, to fight back against their masters, to fight the bondage. Knowing this instinct the master devised one simple trick. Convince the serfs to happily give their owner all their resources in exchange for shiny rocks with the (laughable) belief these magic beans will destroy the system, will set them free, that they will emerge from the wagie cage winners for once in their miserable lives.

Alright boomer microdick retard dicklet faggot zoomers, listen up. Silver is fucking worthless. It's literally dumped 90% since last year and won't stop any time soon. The thing about silver is that there's more than 100x as much in the ground as there is gold (which is also worthless), and its "industrial uses" are massively overrated because copper outclasses it for any conceivable use. Silver is going to zero, you'll be able to get it for free off of craigslist soon enough if you're willing to go clean it out of dejected stackers' houses and transport it away. Furthermore, asteroid mining operations will be up and running by 2030 and they will QUADRUPLE the supply. But let me guess, you think there's gonna be a big economic collapse - well SURPRISE you doomer dicklet underage faggots, you can't eat silver and you'll be trading your 10oz bars for lighters and bowlfuls of rice. That is if nobody breaks into your house and shoots you for your shiny rocks, or the government doesn't kick down your door and take it when they implement CBDCs. You've been brainwashed by kikes who want to get their hands on your cash, and you better realize it before it's too late and you're left with kilos and kilos of shit-metal that will be rusty and corroded long before it appreciates enough for you to recoup the premiums you've paid.

Coin dealers make money by hiring these shillbots (not giving them yous that's how they get paid) to spread FUD, and charging exorbitant premiums. that is their scam. Silver is bought cheaply from JP Morgan which happily offloads the outdated currency when the dealers shift into a shilling mode 9000. The "Silver" is created when the price of the coin from JP Morgan is added to the balance of that central bank after the dealer buys it. The coin dealer must pay it back at interest, and they themselves are allowed to charge out or "sell" several times this amount of silver at premiums to the buyers, AKA the shillees. Hence the 6 week delivery times, or float in industry parlance, of silver sold at "fair" premiums. The overall object is not even so much to make money. money (or rather, usury) is simply a tool by which they attempt to control the general public. the fed is a private organization and has private shareholders and very profitable and desires to continue existing. By deactivating the victims from taking effective actions against the FED they achieve this goal.

I found a fascinating article on the cpi adjusted prices of gold and silver. It is a bit dated since it only goes to 2020. They do use both the "official" cpi and shadow stats 1980 version of the cpi. Pictured here is the shadow stats version for silver.

I don't do the thrill of the hunt anymore because I end up without the satisfaction so I buy 4-5oz with the lowest premiums on wherever gives me free shipping. Last year I got a lot of Euro 90% silver at or slightly below spot at the time. And that was shipping from burger to burger with all things considered.
Weed use once every few months is cathartic frens. But yeah every looser I know smokes it every day. I'll smoke on Halloween, my birthday and definitely new years. But for my cardio I'll try a 5mg edible each time.

If you're new to SETF Threads please seriously consider that these threads are made by greedy merchants who want to sell you boomer rocks at 232% premiums. If something big is going to be happening, YOU WILL BE THE LAST TO KNOW. Only spend what you want to donate to your enemies! DO NOT BUY SILVER! Do not buy silver. DO NOT PANIC BUY SILVER! This is how you get ripped off. The first rule of silver stacking is do not buy silver. So what are these guys doing? Telling everyone day after day about their stacks and to buy silver. Do they have anything to gain by recruiting more stackers? Yes they can sell you $100 of silver for $698 and then buy it back for 43 cents. If silver was such a good deal would they really be telling everyone?

if you're talking about boomers, we bought both

we also bought jet boats and mutual funds

we sold the silver and the jet boats because they didn't go up in value. We kept the houses and stocks/funds

see, you can buy more than one thing at a time, and then dump the losers. This is why boomers don't usually stack silver or gold anymore. We did it already, we lost money.
we still stack houses though.

Maybe everyone is bluffing, but if they aren't and shit really kicks off it is going to be far more ugly than most people imagine.
Both sides have been preparing for this for a generation.

Play the scenerio out: US is threatening to attack Iranian backed installations because Iran threatened to attack us bases and properties in the region if they interviewed in gaza. If us and Iran start attacking each other's bases and people in the ME (which I believe is what the jews want to happen), the US will perform limited strikes on Iran, as we have before. Then, the UN and Congress and Dima etc... will all convene respectively to debate a US/Iran war as Iran is a Russian ally and we're already pissing them off bad enough. At that point, national coalitions will firm up, and the economic and more covert warfare will increase. It will be at least a few weeks before it turns to an actual hot war, but more likely months as these are all nuclear powers. If you're seriously concerned rn, I'd say go stock gasoline as that will be the first item to go haywire in price and availability, even if it never goes beyond a regional conflict. I don't think it's complete panic time yet, but if you're short on stores of fuel, dry food, cooking oils etc... at this point, then you haven't been paying attention and should definitely go get some shit now before any normies start noticing lol.

I don't think nukes would be the best strategy to defeat the US. It's simply too large. More "fires" or "explosion" disabling critical infrastructure and food supplies coupled with environmental disasters like chemical releases, thick smoke from forest fires, or even chemical/biological weapons (traceable in origin or not) would force the US into either making peace, or risk losing its entire population. Everyone is stuck inside, all crops and livestock are ruined, and all an invadibg force has to do is wait us out before coming in to mop up. Nukes might be used for effect, but they likely wouldn't be the biggest concern against a determined enemy. Anyway, it looks like Isreal is gonna be the first country to deploy energy weapons in theater today.

Nukes go boom, fallout clears, and our army is all but defeated, but you still have 100's of millions of the most heavily armed population on the planet to contend with, over a massive and diverse terrain, full of hills, caves and forests. It would be a very protracted and costly war. No country determined to conquer us is going to do that. They will use (maybe already are?) much better methods and weapons. Assuming you live, you might find yourself as a refuge in South America or something in that case, and if so, you'll be happy you bought the Krugerrands lol.

lone person has to do lone person things. job of a lone person isn't really to defeat the government. you could just shoot feds as they walk into work one morning. follow someone out of their neighborhood. have access to data of where all the divorced soldiers families sleep at night. sabatage your company that services a need of the government. there's literally endless things you can do that would help. rambo agains the government is grug stuff. go buy 100 lbs of dnp and dump it in a water supply. have people cook themsevles into a roast that can't just be barfed up once injested. that would cost like $100

yeah, that's my point

it's all small arms. Nothing anyone in the public has will stand a chance against missiles, drones, jets, tanks.

99.9% of gun owners would be killed with a couple gas warheads. Almost all of them with a bioweapon.

>They will use (maybe already are?) much better methods and weapons.
exactly the problem.

I'm not against stacking, I don't care what other people do to feel good. And if a person does survive maybe having some metals will be more of an asset than liability. I don't know. I just doubt most here would survive long enough for it to matter. But that's not a reason not to try I guess.

My only point is that: we're very likely not going to be attacked with nukes by a major world power, because it's not a good plan for victory. Period. It's the prepper/red dawn pipe dream. Prepare for the most likely events first. Loss of electricity or other utilities, then supply chain and currency issues. Then environmental issues, etc...but no world power is nuking any other world power out of existence. It's not even possible due to the sizes of the countries and the numbers of targets from any of those countries that are scattered all over the planet. I think we're going to see the next generation of weapons rolling out very soon and we'll all be rethinking our shtf scenarios lol.

yeah, I didn't say that very well

you know though. Most americans own guns. I'd guess only a tiny fraction own working gas masks that they regularly maintain and fit test.

even if that never happens, most are like the anon upthread who thinks they're going to kick it at home defending their castle even though that's probably the easiest way to get killed since everyone knows exactly where to find you, and destroying the house destroys the occupants.

anyways, it's just a bit weird to plan so heavily for some very specific and highly unlikely scenario while ignoring an almost infinite number of other much more likely outcomes.

biggest one obviously is the continuation of the status quo. In which case owning some gold and silver will probably prove pretty useful if a person just tosses it in a box and forgets about it for a few decades.

I served in the military where I learned military history and doctrine, and also realized that surviving any war now is a matter of luck and medical care rather than skill and preparation.

I also stacked PM's long enough to see that while I didn't really lose money on the hobby, I also didn't gain anything after adjusting for inflation. Though I probably beat having a savings account.

There are over 1500 cites and towns with over 10k, all have local level governments. I can tell you one advantage though. My house was super cheap because of the lead. Now that the town has been de-listed by the EPA my place went from $100k to almost a million in a matter of a few years. So that's attractive if you can buy cheap because of enviroshit and then clean it up for a huge gain. Only matters if you sell though.
