Even if you get lucky enough to buy a house outright in cash, your focus of stress will simply shift towards something else

You cannot escape stress, your stress focus will always redirect itself into something new once the priority stressor is eliminated

You’ll find rich people are often extreme hypochondriacs, as they have 0 financial stress, so their stress turns towards their health and they become stressed about their health

my older brother is 36 and schizophrenic, he never works and doesn't pay any rent, he is bald (albeit all my family is) but his face looks incredibly youthful despite chain smoking and having a terribly irregular sleep pattern, he has no wrinkles and when he wears a hat he can get away with early 20's

I bought a house recently and it's sucked every single penny I own to make the thing actually liveable.
If I ever rent it out, it's at market value.
Most people are incapable of owning homes and are lucky they have roofs over their heads. I had a roommate who stayed in the house with no power all weekend because he thought there was a power outage. He didn't know what a fuse box was or what it did. I had to show him the tripswitches etc. Blew his mind. He also wanted to call a maintenance man to fix the freezer because it was "broken".
There was a build up of ice around the door because he didn't close it properly. I chipped it off and he thought I was some sort of DIY genius. This guy was a maths teacher btw. He was also incapable of cleaning and noticing things going wrong around him. I had to tell him to open his windows to stop the mould in his room, he was completely oblivious. He also wouldn't actually notice the difference when the house was a mess and when it was clean.

Home ownership should be for people capable of maintaining and running a household. The rest can have daddy landlord to take care of the problems because these people are too stupid and ignorant not to leave the house go into complete disrepair and squalor

i just flush tons of hot grease down the drain in my apartment. im on the middle floor so I can just blame it on the person above me or below me since i pour hot water down the drain to make sure it solidifies away from me. i also flush wipes and paper towels down the toilet. sometimes it gets clogged but a few minutes with a plunger fixes it. i also use jack stands on the softest spots on the pavement in the parking lot so it puts holes in the pavement. I also pour chemicals down the drainr regularly. we rentoids hate you too mr land baron :)

well honestly landlords like nearly every other company you can engage in a financial or other contract with regularly report your satisfactory loan payments. only landlords exclude themselves from it, but only if youre paying on time. they are so fucking quick to report delinquencies its not funny.

There was a guy, that got scammed by his landlord for 8k, the guy then made sure his heating system and electrical panel went BZZZZZT and done over 20k in damages plus all the other tenants had to leave for couple months.

I love ruining landlords. Its my bread and butter.
