Some people will panic, so the price will fall. If you have a steady income, buy the dip as much as you can. If you don't, make sure you have 3 month expenses in cash, if you have kids make sure you have 6 month expenses in cash.
I have seen some crisis in my days, for example the 70ies oil crisis, it's always temporary. Eventually people will buy PMs and the prices will go up again.

You really don't go into peoples homes and make videos of raping and killing the children you find.
If you think these people have earned it, because they live in Israel, you should check your mental health.
The Russians have done some things in Bucha, but even they didn't rape children to death and forced their parents to watch.

Facts. My dad went to school and was friends with the daughter of a (formerly) wealthy old Palestinian family, they had a big historic home in Jerusalem that was in the family for hundreds of years which the filthy Israelis stole at gunpoint in 1967, same with all their valuable heirlooms and other property. Their home was used by the satanic synagogue as a hospital first and is a museum now, probably full of lies about how immaculately innocent and singularly oppressed the Jews are.

Anons I don't know what I have in store for me but I sold two btc and sold off my tesla shares, emptied out my 401k and bought 5 ounces of gold and 1k of silver. My one question is this: should I debt max and go all in? I have no debt so I can pay this off in a month if I debt max. This wasn't a decision that came easy to me but I have connections and basically a resounding 100% of my friends said "sell all but commodities and buy precious metals" was their response and the task they gave me. I can debt max another 10k and I am considering it harshly. I was holding out for a long time and only had a small jewelry stack but now I am in numinastics and mostly generic bars and coins. I have some five and ten ouncers for silver too. I bought 20 dollars face value dimes and 10 dollars in quarters. What should I diversify into now? I am also scared holding all this metal, should I bury it somewhere safe? Should I use a small dummy safe with fake jewelry and twenty usd in it? Is having a mossberg, several pistols and an ar15 enough to defend my stash? I have thousands of rounds for each ammo. Except my mossberg but I can buy more.

I stack all i can find for cheap really. But i'll always have a preference for big coins like the 5 Francs and it's equivalent (5 lira, 5 DM, Thaler,..).
16.75 is a decent price, pretty much what you can expect to find on the market, and with the same % premium than modern rounds, considering they contain 15€ worth of fine silver.

>>56310088
Thanks fren, i'm especially happy about this 1833 belgian 5F who went under the radar that i paid below spot. This coin usually sells for around 60 bux in that condition, so it will pretty much pay for the lot.
>What is the weight/fineness of the coin purse?
Weight is 45gr, and i paid 16€ for it. I can't read accurately the hallmarks, but as per usual with the "petit ouvrage" hallmarks back then, it seems to be the Boar's head, and it only guaranteed a minimum fineness of .800. But no other hallmark was availible for higher grades for non tableware, below a certain weight silver items, and .800 was pretty much never used for jewelry and women accessories back then, so i believe it to be .925. At least from my experience with those goods, it was the french standard.
>It seems like you get lots of Belgian stuff,
Yes they are incredibly common on ebay, i easily have as many Hercules as Leopold II coins. Best thing is they usually are slightly cheaper due to non-frogism, while being the exact same, so i like them.
>widely circulate interchangeably with French Francs back in the LMU days?
I don't have evidences of it, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. They are written in french, same weight, same dimensions, same purity, same denomination... And not just for the 5F, but also all the others silver coins, down to the 50c. Probably ppl didn't even notice they had belgian coins in their purse, and vice-versa for the belgians.
Same goes for Switzerland. Both were almost considered part of France, at least for the western side.

Why do you say it's not worth it? Per oz of FS wieners aren't cheaper than Hercules. It's even the opposite, if you bought your 5F for 16.75, then it costed you 23.15€/oz of FS, whereas Wieners are sold for 24€ minimum.

Is it OK if I spank a keynseyan here?

>demonetization of silver

Didn't change the nature of silver, it merely removed real money from the peoples hands, and replaced their money (gold/silver) with a company scrip substitute, or 'paper "money"'.
>greenback / debt free money

Just a three card Monty game. Pretending one kind of counterfeit money is better than another.
>tally stick system
The earlier version of the dollar. Pretend money.
>goldsmiths
The first con artists in the game. They found a way to con people out of their gold, or were the first to do so....

>demonetization of silver for the goyim...
>it did change the nature of silver, retard. It did not put paper money in people's hands, it assured only gold coins could be used retard, and it was absolutely abused by the Jews to control the financial system

(Big fuckingdeal idiot. In one country for one period of time. Silver and gold are money since Bible days.)

>greenback dollars... was objectively better than the gold standard or trad fiat

(Meaningless, since all company scrip/paper currency schemes are frauds with the same outcome- stealing the goyims gold Ala 1933)

>tally sticks are the longest form of any money system concurrently used in history. responsible for the rise of the entire British empire.

(Now I know you are trolling. Tally sticks never were money, never could be money, maybe they were used as currency among some retards, and the sticks are kindling now....Zero value. Only gold/ silver is money

It depends when you buy. I got some wieners for 23.53 in August, and they're the same price again right now (goldsilver.be). But last week they were under 23 when the spot price was lower.
The 5 francs, I got those from another shop (Acheter-Or-Argent.fr) and the price is "locked" to 16.75, so it doesn't vary with spot.
But mostly I'm wondering about the resale price. I only found one place that posts what exactly they pay for junk coins they buy:
https://www.cdt.fr/argent/demonetise/prix.html
Here you can see clearly that they pay well below spot for junk, even though they sell it above spot. So I'm wondering if this is the general trend.

My copypasta:
- For new generic bars, note the premiums (added charges) over spot: they go up for smaller pieces.
- Some beautiful generic items are priced comically high (Germanias, GSM special editions, e.g.). Regardless, dealers may categorize and price these as "generic" (below or at spot) when buying them from you. Or your gamble might pay off if they become highly regarded (Englehard, PAMP, antique miners/refiners, e.g.).
- The firsts of new artful or theme bullion series are often missed by later collectors, who may pay high premiums to fill in gaps. Caution: political or cringeworthy themes are less likely to appreciate.
- Low-mintage series are often priced very high, but may in time increase in value the most.
- Gov't-issued coins cost least during the mint run. Once ended and dealers run out of stock, their prices often jump, then rise a bit faster than generic silver.
- Annual changes to overall designs become series (Somali elephants, Canadian Wildlife, Australian kookaburras or koalas, island nations' series, etc.), adding potential appreciation.
- Maples, Eagles, Wieners, Britannias, etc. are nice and boring, but recognition helps sell to customers more comfortable and confident buying them.
- If you buy pieces that appeal to your sense of art, taste, and interests, you will still appreciate them even if the price or value of the PM goes nowhere. Caveat: if you go to sell, it's harder to let go of them.
- Shipping is an added premium. Many online vendors offer free shipping for purchasing a minimum amount (commonly $200). Your local coin shop has no shipping to charge.
- Vendors may charge extra for using a credit card. That might balance (ebay!) if your card offers cash back.
- Keep all sales receipts and a spreadsheet of your purchases to track profit/loss: it's quite revealing and may help guide future decisions. Example ("PurchaseRecords" tab):

Hey anons I just heard about the Israel situation and the first things I checked after hearing it were gold and silver prices and notice that a sudden uptick in prices occurred just today
not sure if there is a correlation but I wanted to confide in /pmg/ and ask it simply
Do you anons think this conflict will have any significant affect on gold or silver prices?
I was planning on waiting till the end of the month to make another purchase since I notices the spot price has been going down a bit but should I buy now if it might go up again due to this or will it continue to go down and hold?
I have some funds set aside just for emergency purchases so I can take the potential loss in getting better prices but I wanted to ask here just to be sure and get a second opinion

I'm being honest. Jewish power is soft power particularly in media, finance, and academia -- particularly in England and America. Israel is literally a nigger nation that doesn't matter for the rest of the world.

For people that disagree -- how does Jews and Arabs killing each other in Gaza matter for anyone outside of the region and how does that effect gold and silver prices globally? Why will gold and silver go up or down in price here in Canada because Jews and Arabs are killing each other in Gaza?

Israel isn't just the US, or Canada's ally. They are the "1st world's ally." If this continues to escalate, then other first world nations are going to get pulled into the fight or have to tell Israel they are on their own. Both of those options are going to have serious consequences for war and economic policy in first world countries. We will see money printing to throw cash thier way, ramp ups in military equipment production to send them arms, I doubt, but maybe even boots on the ground if not in combat roles then in advisory and training roles. All of these things will have an effect on the stock and commodity markets. It hasn't even been two days and I've seen multiple posts on here and some news sites saying Biden has already pledged 8 billion in aid. If any of these nations yell Israel they are on thier own, they will face backlash in all kinds of forms, not just from Israel but from other allies, it may be months down the road but be sure it will happen.

I'm just saying we all know Jews use botnets as part of their soft power. Them pushing less important spam (like convincing goyim to racemix) to the sidelines while they use their botnets to push more important spam -- regarding their newest persecution narrative -- is not evidence that gold and silver are going to be effected.

You're making a more clear argument that Jews and their diaspora use botnets to influence internet narratives as a part of their soft power and this Gaza conflict just makes it clear that their bots will prioritize certain narratives and pause particular spam campaigns when one narrative becomes more important (meaning right now jews getting killed is a more important spam campaign than trannies, gold bad, race mixing good, and other spam campaigns jews generally blast out using their botnet influence generators)

A safe is a waste of money you could be using to buy more metals and is an advert to thieves that says "I have valuables and you need to rob from me"
Best way to hide something is in plain site, if you have a garage or shed get hundreds of empty paint cans and put all your metals in the cans you can fit them all into then put them amongst all the other cans on shelves, benches, work tops spread all over the place.

No thief will bother going through all that or will even think theres anything valuable hidden there.
