Stocks will keep going up at least until they start going down again. We will know for sure when that happens because price changes will switch from their current upward direction to a downward one. The main indicator that we can use to identify this switch is that we will see stock prices falling instead of rising. That will tell us when returns on stocks have changed from positive to negative. I’m at work and don’t have a list in front of me. Only one I’ve purchased in smith and Wesson. Firearm cyclicality is being overblown due to 2020-2021 comps. Their pistols are perfectly marketed as anyone middle class is willing to buy their 5.7 (for instance) at $700+ vs palmetto state since anyone who might carry it (the entire market) is thinking they might be betting their life on it, so 5% quality increase allows for 100% higher selling price. Right now your basically paying 10x trough earnings which should be more like 15-20x imo due to cyclicality. Their recent moves into tacticool shotguns was a waste, but with their brand they could easily move into hunting rifles and shotguns over time, but you get fewer repeat purchases in that portion of the firearms market.
