So, you're calling it a t-bill meltup when it's really the long bonds that are a problem. That tells me you're a bit of a normie, out of the loop, a casual investor, yes?

Nothing wrong with that, but it explains what's going on. Essentially a wave of panic has washed ashore and finally reached you. But it was days ago that that panic swept through the Bank of Japan, the Federal Reserve, the Treasury, all the key bailout decision makers.

And so a few days ago they saw fit to do, to use the technical term, backroom Jew magic. Bond yields peaked, tickers like TLT bottomed, and we are now on a road to market recovery. Via God knows what kind of horrible blood pacts and money printing.

I think it's the overall monotony of the job. Unironically my dad was telling me that the family dentist broke down crying in front of him complaining about his wife divorcing him and his daughters becoming super woke and disowning him. My dad is not at all good when it comes to consoling people and is kind of cold in general so he didn't know how to react or what to say and it was just awkward silence. I still laugh to myself picturing this in my head but my dentist is a good guy and I do feel bad for him. Now imagine being emotionally invested in your patient's *teeth* which are irreplaceable and often neglected and it's your job to try to care for them a little bit, pull them apart, clean up the mess etc.

Treasuries will get you a more or less guaranteed return on your investment if you're willing to wait. Most of the <2yr ones are over 5% annualized right now.
How much is "small?" You'll need ~$1k for this.

There are serious limits to what you can do with less than a few thousand in your account. I'd recommend getting a job of some sort and saving money until you get there.
Maybe buy some BRK-B.

If you earned that you could put it in a roth IRA, and stick it in index funds you might make $100 over a year (probably not this year though.) If you want to invest instead of working you need to have something to invest.

Higher interest rates are good for banks but if they get to high I can see them affecting their profits. Of course I see why your bearish on banks but if you're in it for the long term(10 years +) than it doesn't really matter :)
