But is it? coffee is a luxury good that takes a lot of work to cultivate and can even only be grown in very select regions of the world. You have to pay skilled growers, the people who roast it, and all the logistics of packing it and shipping. Then you have to buy it from someone retail or who will prepare it for you which adds their own margin
