I have worked at both SWIFT and Euroclear and the fact that Chain link brainlets think they will use any Chain link tech soon is hilarious.

We are talking about companies that are still running on Windows XP and mainframes. They only have a small % of infra in the cloud and a ton of legacy crap they can't get rid of even if they want to. Sergei actually gave a 10 y old timeframe which is actually very optimistic imo

7 years ago I was working there and they had planned to get rid of mainframes in 3 years.
guess what, nothing changed and now they plan it for in 5 years lol

They don't have to do anything. Chainlink is compatible with swift messages. All the work has been done by Sirgay and his team.

kek. they will use chainlink specifically because they're so reliant on antiquated systems. chainlink can do all the heavy lifting on their end and provide a turnkey solution on a silver platter.

if you listened to the bankless podcast, you would have heard sergey say that swift was still running on some of their original infrastructure from the 70's and so are many large banks. chainlink isnt waiting on them to upgrade to use CCIP, they are integrating it into their existing infrastructure and is "actively being executed".

eat shit tranny
