if you can only sell your gaining altcoins for BTC
but BTC value is going down
how the fuck do you ensure your gains?
rather than just losing money thanks to btc value

If BTC value in USD goes down but your alt doesn't lose value in USD, the BTC value in USD matters after you sold your alts for it. You basically just have to pray for BTC not to drop while trying to cash it out for FIAT. Or you just wait for it to go back up.
