If you are talking about the company side, a lot of the gains/changes in the last runup happened during earnings season when they started reporting their retarded profits. There is a chance time will be necessary to catch up with the overall change in oil. And by time, I mean oil really needs to hold these prices until the end of October probably.

As far as the commodity goes, hell if I know. U.S. exports are largely driving the continuous draws. Refineries over seas are going nuts I guess with the jump in sour crude prices. Out of my area of expertise though.

I thought you were trolling when posting "y tho." But again, your goal is long term growth unless you're nearing retirement or 7 figures. Value does provide that. I know you guys can help me solve this:
I have $80k in a foreign currency (that of my south american 3rd world country, chile) and make 2.5k a month (of which I save >60%), and I could
- buy a small patch of land (600 sq.m., 650 sq.ft.) in a relatively quiet, "mediterranean-like" beach city for $67k (original price was $70k... not a great discount) where I could build a b&b in the near future (once I save enough money...), a city where I lived for many years but it's been getting filled with narcos and undesirables in the last decade
- OR I could save some more and buy some 12 acre a few miles away from another beach (where middle/upper class people live) for $85k BUT this patch of land one has no running water or sewage, only electricity available but I'd have to contact the company and install everything, but this one seems to have some future
- OR I could get the fuck out of this area and buy 25 acre for $10k in a much colder area in the middle of nowhere (I doubt they even have internet there), where it rains a lot and people get depressed because of the shit climate but at least it would be way cheaper and I'd fulfill my dream of living in the middle of a forest and do whatever I want there, but I'd literally have to keep waging because I doubt I'd have some other income in the medium term
I'd buy the $67k land but I think it's way too overpriced for what it is, and the retarded faggot owner won't lower the price even though he could get a fucking CD and get ~8% ROI in less than a fucking year
- I could also move to buenos aires (love that city), but while life there is cheap, properties are as expensive as in here, and everyone wants to sell in dollars, and I'd have to leave my current job, cuz I doubt they would be OK with that shit.
any recommendations? who should I ask for suggestions? wtf should I do, how the fuck do I decide what the best course of action is in this case?

>> No.56228736

>>56228705
oh, and one last option would be to go all into some ETF after the market crashes because fuck land, I'm gonna keep renting while I wage and in the meantime get some gains from the stock markets (which, otoh, are taxed heavily in this shit country)

also, to add: I've been looking for properties for a long time. I even automated part of this process by making a program that downloads and displays all new land offers posted in ad websites. and while prices are falling, there are NO GOOD FUCKING OPPORTUNITIES. it's all shit.
legal auctions, which I've been following for 10+ years, also became shit because our govt. raised the valuations of all properties some years ago, which people use as a reference by multiplying by 2 or more... and they also decided to stop some legal auctions during and after the pandemic.

Europe pumping, copper pumping, oil holding steady, feeeels good man. Time to slurp some European banks like Nordea for those beautiful divvies and ez gainz. Then time for some ring exercises and then probably a nap. See ya fags

Look up interest rates for the US. All the way from 2009 to Trump's inauguration they were essentially at 0%. Then they steadily went up only to get slashed to zero again when Covid hit. The way Covid was handled was just a prank by the elite to make themselves even richer by giga inflation and money printing so it is understandable.
Biden has no energy policy and look at pic related at this bloody inflation reduction act

I wondering how much Ozempic/Wegovy has to do with the increase in sugar prices. In 2022 it was known that stocks would be really low, but the pump happened pretty late.

Now people can gulp (soda) and eat that shit without thinking, without consequence. Just use some fuckin medication for diabetes offlabel and consoome without remorse.

It suppresses hunger? I thought it was rather having an effect on insulin and all the mechanism around it. I can't remember if insulin etc has an effect on hunger..

Suppressing hunger makes me think of adrenalin which also has a role in insulin mechanism, as insulin counters adrenalin and calms you down, you could say.

Adrenaline is essentially what the /FASTfags think gives them that "clarity" and "focus" etc. Yeah, but you also enter into some form of craze, your perception of things change, you become hyperaware, which is because of the adrenaline in your kidneys due to not eating which because insulin is not being released in your body. Essentially stress. Now is the question if Ozempic does something similar.

HOly shit who could have seen that coming??? Nobody. Anyone that isn't a soulless automaton should be aware of this. Price gouging, pathetic wage growth, taking advantage of the CPI craze to justify higher and higher prices, and so on. Naturally as we enter disflation (slower inflation), profits are gonna increase more slowly but they still keep rising and way faster than wage growth.
People work more than ever before just so the management can take an even greater cut.
This is so insanely bullish that I can't even. If you ain't stacking up on stock during every dip, you will once again miss the bull run.
Unless rates get high enough to actually start affecting businesses and consumption (i.e., 10%+), nobody will give a shit and we will keep pumping

>> No.56230268

EU might be going for weekyl double bottom. This market will stay on this level probably til January the least if not April. Those inflation numbers are fuckin mild because of the y/y effect. Especially europe will look mild now because inflation peaked in October 22, unlike the US when it did in june 22.

They're very comfy if you're selling schizo calls that will never hit and get bought anyways to hedge or just by gamblers. If you're getting close to the money with them you better know what you're doing or it's a shitty time.
