It's the truth bro. Money of course, is power, but true value is immeasurable. All everyone does is ultimately, because of other people and the world we live in. The smile of your kids, the laughter of your friends, the pride of your parents, the envy of your neighbours, the respect of your peers, the beauty of the sunset on the beach, the family vacations and spending long nights telling stories. But because none of what anything that really matters is measurable, to economics it becomes an externality - it just doesn't exist anymore. However, contemporary economics will be known as perhaps history's greatest swindle. It is essentially, fraudulent accounting. It fails to take into account true human motivations, nor the real thermodynamic energy systems we exist in. So what does economics actually study? In reality - mirages, or fever dreams - used as politically expedient justification for acts of state violence against the population. It is religion dressed up as empiricism using data it supplies from it's own faulty models, designed to reach the conclusions they wanted to reach all along, to justify what they wanted to do all along.

You have to remember that the power structure that claims to impose a monetary value on your life is doing so under it's own motivations of self perpetuation, and necessitates a serf class to suffer and submit. It wants you to feel culpable for your misery as it deflects from it's own failings. We're all here to game the system and try to break free personally, but you need to remember that even if you make it, the game is bullshit. Don't get sucked in.
