Kazatomprom and Yellowcake have the best physical exposure, CCJ and UUUU are decent for single ticker swings
Horizons (HURA.TO) does long dated uranium spot and Sprott (SPUT/SRUUF) will pay a special dividend at a certain spot price.
Spot had trouble breaking $60, now its support and around $66. Have a small position now if you can, and DCA aggressively. Not sure the time horizon. Could be a few weeks or a few years

For uranium FOMOers, don't go all in. Pull back is imminent. What could slow things down are majors/producers announcing financing and resulting share dilution. Also general credit crisis in broad markets. I'd say wait for the dip into October and the cup to form on what looks like a cup and handle. In the meantime, there are some smaller uranium explorers that have already completed recent PP financing rounds, FUU and SUU, and could rip much higher now on good news.

Image from paid service. We sold our trading positions, still holding core positions. I'm also holding some of those explorers that could pump on rotation from large caps to small.

Yeah, ETFs are good here, but some individual companies have much higher torque. UEC, while being something of a meme stock, likes to pump and dump hard, which makes it good for swing traders. Reason is that is has deep options pool. I rode UEC up on this run and since switched core position in it to URNJ to derisk.

Cameco - The biggest western producer, the blue chip of the sector. CCJ will DEFINITELY mine and make money, but the stock has less beta than smaller companies(It's a safer bet, but I want multi-baggers)

Kazatomprom - The biggest investable producer in the world. Very undervalued in comparison to profits, due to it having close ties with Russia and being non-western company.

Energy Fuels - has mines, contracts and a mill, an easy bet

Uranium Energy Corp - has good mining assets, no contracts, might be a lifestyle company with no intent to actually build a mine(CEO is good at publicity). But the stock has higher than normal beta(looks like insiders want to pump this?)

Denison Mines - In the Athabasca basin, the biggest junior in canada. While being "stable", has risk in that its in Canada and that comes with costs, has to get permits, and build a mine with Trudeau and First Nations on his ass.

NexGen - The biggest deposit found, could take a decade to build, will cost billions to develop, but will eventually pump out 10 million lbs + a year. Management are siphoning as much as they can out of this company(they pay themselves more than anyone). They even sponsored the Vancouver Canucks

Encore Energy - great assets, contracts, management, one of Uranium Insiders top picks. Buy this imo.

Deep Yellow - Led by John Borschoff, the man who made Paladin in the last uranium bubble and the stock went up 1000x. A good asset with amazing management, in a cheap but risky jurisdiction: Namibia

Ur Energy - a cheaper UUUU, very conservative, but a for sure bet

IsoEnergy - a good explorer, has high beta, can be expensive so wait for pullbacks

Global Atomic - the best developer that has been HEEMED by the coup in Niger, it went down by 60%, could come back

GoviEx - Niger trainwreck, but could be a sleeper hit

F3 Uranium - an explorer who found a deposit( I own this it has gone up 300% for me)

CPI will be bad in October (for september) but October-Nov CPI will look soft because of Oil 2022.
Then in January CPI could look really bad again and this could be the end of it. Markets are gay. They sharpy/instantly rebound like october 2022 or corona crash. You take a penalty to cash it out like 10% or something, I think there are hardship exceptions that allow you to liquidate 401ks. Death in the family, medical emergency and stuff like that.
I don't think any of them will cash out retirement savings but at the least they'll slow contributions or stop contributing outright.

So much nonsense when tsla themselves gave away the game. "Genral purpose robotics" is an ellegory to general purpose computers which replaced single purpose behemoths by being flexible and loading different programs.
Tsla isnt after the min wagie workers. Theyre after the capital goods markets which are selling million dollar machines that do one thing and installed it in one location and for the next factory they start all over again.

I'm not invested in solar/wind/nukes at the moment but I also see it as probably the future energy triad. That report just says you could turn old coal power plants into nuclear plant sites if you wanted to. "If you wanted to do it" was never the issue. The issue is nobody wants to. America has 93 reactors. Only 2 of them have been built since 1996. +2% capacity in 30 years isn't exactly a hot new growth sector. Worldwide isn't much different. About 10% increase in the works, half in China.

So, as a share of global energy, in the next 5 years nuclear might go from 10% to 11%.

Compare that to solar and wind, which are expanding probably 5-10x faster. Together they already account for more energy generation than nuclear does and there was almost none of them 20 years ago.

If the world changes their mind on nuclear in the next 25 years that's totally cool with me. Right now nobody's building anything. But if they want to build and they stick to the new reactor designs etc. then I'm here for it.

But I also have a sneaking suspicion that China or India is going to cut some corners on reactor safety and after another nuclear accident in 15 years we'll be back to square one again.

it could happen, but it's unlikely
we are so overextended to the downside, that the risk is to the upside - we need to at least get back into the average true range on the daily, and/or possibly even touch the 20 EMA
going into SPY puts now is how the MM wins (people shorting the short term bottom)
in a situation like this, where we're oversold and this far below ATR, you should be taking profits on short positions, buying short term calls (if you do do anything) --- and then waiting
once the relief rally fizzles, then you go back into puts
if you buy puts here, you risk getting immediately destroyed - pennies in front of steamroller, not worth the risk

IF YOU ARE SHORT, PAY ATTENTION TO THIS POST
DON'T SAY NO ONE WARNED YOU
DON'T SAY "OMG /SMG/ TOLD ME TO BUY PUTS AND NOW I LOST MONEY"
I am actively telling you, take profits on your short positions, scale out - you should be waiting for the relief rally, return to ATR, and THEN you go short again
if you go short here, you are way more likely to be shorting the short term bottom before relief rally, than to be correct and make a lot of $$$

No! Do NOT go heavily into shorts here
It may work out, it may flush down, it may fall a lot farther - but this is a LOT less likely, than a sharp relief rally bounce, at least back to the ATR on the daily, THEN you go short
You should be taking profits on short positions here, NOT going into new ones!

It's already changed its mind on it, all you have to do is look at the headlines and news. The big ramp up on new SMR reactor construction world wide will begin in 2027-2028. In the meantime, both China and India are starting construction on 10+ reactors per year already.
