just look at where the money of a company is coming from and what they produce in return. for chainlink, they get their money from token sales to retail. in return, they produce open source code, blog posts, twitter posts, slides, talks with slides and interviews, some of them paid. to achieve this, they employ a workforce of 500+ people and are incorporated on the cayman islands while paying ~$100 a month for a virtual office in new york to look more legitimate
