Not crypto but stocks. I was severely depressed because I constantly had no money due to my min wage job cleaning apartments that paid shit and I also get turned away from every other job opportunity I’ve interviewed for.

I heard the fed say they expected a recession so I quit my job so I could withdraw my 401k and I planned to return to my job (which never gave me a raise beyond the base pay) and reinvest the amount after a market crash that coincidentally never happened.

But it felt so good having $16,000 in my account. I felt liberated. I traded spy options and made $2300 in a single trade. My living expenses are $1k a month so I was doing good outside of the 9-5.

I kept day trading, making $1k every so often, until I got greedy and started fucking up hard. I kept making bad trades and refusing to take losses. I even traded on low volume days out of boredom. Now I’m at around $6,000.

Im planning on taking more methodical trades from now on and stop holding my trades beyond obvious resistance points out of greed. I will slowly build up capital, settling for $200 or more a week, and try to stay within a safe financial range.

Hopefully I can start my own business if I break those bad trading habits. After 14 years cleaning toilets I’ll do whatever it takes, I’m down but not out. Go ahead and talk shit about how retarded I am but as of right now I serve no master

I would only quit my job if I knew for a fact that whatever happens to my investments I would still have saved up enough to survive for 10-20 years or so

But how could you make enough in crypto that you quit your job, but then be broke only a year later? I only make $75 grand AUD per year but I wouldn't bother quitting my job unless I made half a million dollars in crypto at least after tax. I could live off that money for a decade easily.
